    Good article. Yeah, I noticed the points seem to be getting longer and longer each, which seems to favor very consistent players like Djoker and Nishikori because it becomes more and more difficult to put them away. I wonder if we might see a reversal of this trend at some point.

    IMO there was a lot of talk in recent years about increasing role of powerful serv in men's game. But looking at ranking in the top 10 or 20 there are not a lot of big server. In five matches in London Nole served only 17 aces to Fed 32 and both semifinalists Nadal 6 aces /4 and Wawa 23/4. Players are more and more all rounded with good return and defensive skills and of course fantastic physical conditioning.

    Thank you for the feedback. In fact is hard to see in next years that the courts speed increasing. The longer rallies are way more appreciated than outstanding volleys and the game is now on a different era.
