First round was a nightmare for Nadal, very close from elimination in his first real match on Indoor for a year (he played one on Davis Cup but was against a lower level opponent and can't be considered a true match). Nadal keeps struggling against big hitters and Rosol was just outstanding, firing massive groundstrokes from everywhere while Nadal seems completely out of confidence. Despite that, the Spaniard showed a huge determination, turning that match and at the end said that win was a massive boost to his confidence, that he lost several close matches this year and getting this close win is very important for his mental strenght. Dimitrov has been very poor lately, he was always a defensive player but working with Roger Rasheed wasn't the best for his game. Rasheed is knowing for being a fitness crazy and is true that Dimitrov has a tremendous physical ability, but he seems to want to explore his physical conditions with a super defensive mindset. Dimitrov defensive game was good against Stakhovsky serve & volley style but this time will have to face a super solid baseline player. Adding to this, Rafa's crosse forehand spins is also quite effective against one-handed backhand players. Should be a nice meeting but there seems to be some advantage on Rafa side. Best of luck for everyone
