    Bouchard vs Bencic

Bencic has been outstanding in last couple of months and clearly showing quality to be future World No. 1 however she'll have an extremely tough match against Bouchard.

Belinda played Tokyo's final and with less than 24 hours has to play Wuhan's first round. From the research I made is a three hours flight, add to that the time from going from the tournament venue in Tokyo to hotel then to airport then most likely wait some time for a flight then from airport to hotel in Wuhan. She'll wake up in next morning and make a quick practice to prepare the match and get on court right after that.

Bouchard was playing at pretty decent level at US Open but that head concussion didn't allow her to keep playing. She has already been practicing in Wuhan courts, was last year finalist and a tremendous competitor.

Bencic extremely overrated and there is clear value on Bouchard for this contest, the Suisse for sure with some physical and mental fatigue can never be priced at 1.33.

Bouchard ML at 3.62 is pure value!

Isn't there a chance this match could be moved to the next day? Also the flight is at least 7 hours if there aren't any connecting flights.

This match depends on Bencic's motivation, if she comes to play, the match is on her racket. In their last encounter, Bencic bageled Bouchard in the first set, then lost concentration for a bit and then finished strong in the 3rd.

Bencic motivation should be spot on - she wants to go to Singapore.

Yes the flight can take longer but most likely she can get the fastest one.

When they faced in Toronto Bouchard was clearly struggling with her confidence and playing at home was an aditional pressure and she wasn't able to produce tennis. Bencic had a massive collapse on 2nd set but did the job in three sets however Eugenie should be able to put much more fight this time.

Have no doubts about Bencic motivation she's young and wants to win every match, the biggest problems are physical and mental fatigue. Bencic has been in great shape but value is clearly on Genie

I think Bouchard has pulled out, flashscore says the Bouchard/Bencic match is canceled and Bencic has a different opponent (Tomlijanovic).

Eugenie Bouchard has withdrawn from the Wuhan Open with ongoing concussion issues. Made the flight to China and had been onsite this week.

Am told Bouchard stayed back at the hotel today. Was not feeling well and did not come to site. As of now, still planning to go to Beijing.

Funny how you should expect the unexpected on tennis betting. All analysis regarding possible problems with Bencic and at the end was Bouchard who didn't show up on court.
