Amazing value yet again makes it impossible not to take her against Halep tomorrow as well - she's beaten her twice already, last time being here 2 years ago in the round before the quarterfinals. Will certainly wait a little while though for the public to drive her price even higher, ensuring more profit.

Thanks for the insight sir. How confident are you that Pennetta beats Halep? Sounds like a big bet is coming for you on this match. GL!

I love Flavia, I can see why Fognini is all over her. But Jalapeno now vs Jalapeno circa 2013 is two different players. I am thinking over myself, assuming Penneta does not fold, which she might.

Actually, I have just realized that Penetta also played doubles later in the day. And even though Halep's match was longer, Penetta played her first match in much tougher conditions. Hmm. I think both players might come out a little flat early on, but I see no way Halep will lose tomorrow. It will take a major meltdown, Fognini style, for her to lose the match.

Not after Flavia's performance against Petra. This is WTA after all.

But Kvitova wasn't at 100%. Flavia won against a 50% Kvitova, which doesn't mean anything. Halep has already said she wants Serena to win the calendar grand slam. So she'll beat Flavia and gladly lose to Serena in the finals.

High probability of ran-out today. The extra rest might help the aging Italians. But it should also motivate both favs to make a quick work of them, Federer style.

Not to be rude, but did you guys even watch the last round of matches? Penetta was gifted that match by Kvitova. Everytime Kvitova even remotely was able to get the ball back into court more than three decent shots in a row, you could see how outclassed she was and Kvitova would win the piont. Halep, on the other hand wasn't missing, and getting everything back to Azarenka. I don't see anything else but a straight sets victory for Halep to be honest.

Who are you talking to ? LOL.

To elaborate, yeah I watched the matches yesterday. But like I said this is WTA, nerves will always be in play. Jalapeno will not play at the same high level from the get-go, it's just not possible. And Flavia is a fighter. Over might still be a decent play, especially with the somewhat low line. But yeah, I do not see how Halep can lose this match.

Early start for this match, the same time as it was for the Pennetta-Kvitova match where the weird shadows played a big role. I have no idea how long it will take Halep to get used to that. Yet another little factor for Pennetta to make it interesting.

LOL, Halep is sh.tting the bed big time. I think she will lose the match, let alone the 1st set. That extra day of rest helped Flavia tremendously. So much for Jalapeno. Might be just as well. I think Pennetta will be more competitive in the final.

Nah, my jinxes never work. Well, I did not see that. Thank god for live betting. I am down only ~2u instead of 4u. Jalapeno, LOL. Now if Vinci takes a set off Serena that would be bonkers.

Agreed! I had Over21.5, but I live bet my way to a profit after the first set... I don't see an upset in the second semifinal though

Was I the only one on Pennetta? I only had her small on ML and 1st set, but I also put a small amount on Halep to win 2-1 sets just in case.

Ha, far from it my friend! Just really liked her chances after seeing her a few times this tourney.

You were saying... I wonder how much Halep is kicking herself now. She was too chickensh.it to face Serena in the final. Instead, she lost her best chance to win a Slam.

I COMPLETELY AGREE "friend," I was just thinking this although Pennetta is still a good player. Her and Kvitova should have dug a little deeper

Of course not. Who am I ? A genius ? I did hedge my Serena futures a bit with a live bet on Vinci ML @+600 after the 3rd set.
