Do tennis players often give up when they're losing in the 2nd or 3rd set?

For example, in the Bogdan v Rybarikova game it was 0-6 in the first set, and now it's 1-4 in the 2nd with Rybarikova to serve the 6th game.

If she wins, it will be 1-5. Is it then worth going big on Rybarikova to break Bogdan's serve and win the 7th game 1-6?

    Never trust.....WTA......for anything. lol

Nothing is ever predictable with the WTA. The ladies(and some of the men) are entirely too emotional and can't keep an even keel

I guess I should have clarified losing badly (i.e. not losing 5-6) but I guess Bogdan answered this anyway, she really put up a fight.

I actually thought a player giving up would be more common in WTA than Mens tennis tbh (without being sexist).

When a dog loses a 1st set tiebreak, the 2nd set is usually one way traffic.
