    List of "Non-Bettable" Players

I think, in light of last night, we need to get a list on here of all of the players who are "non-bettable". I.e. flaky and volatile with the potential to just throw a game (and/or match) when things aren't going his way.

    I'll start the list with:
    Fabio Fognini
    Pablo Cuevas
    Ernests Gulbis

If they are flaky/volatile, why would you throw away this information by refusing to bet them? Use that information to select your bets.

Well, just in terms of "I'm really tempted to pick this player here, they look like a great play", but if they are on this list, you cannot succumb to that temptation.

I think Wawa deserves to be on this list. You never really know whether he cares about a match until it's too late. lol

    Both ways

I agree with all players so far except for Simon.

He shouldn't be on the list.

He's a consistent money maker for me. You always know what you're going to get. If you know his game you know how often you can make money backing him against inconsistent players.

I don't really agree with having blacklist for tennis players. Of course there are many players which cannot be trusted with laying juice or in some other situations, but that is completely different thing from avoiding every match, which is involving them. You simply have to evaluate every case separately and make a good decision.

Y'all brought up some more great ones. For me, the top six (in no paticular order) are Gulbis, Dolgopolov, Matosevic, Fognini, Cuevas, and (I forgot this one) Dustin Brown!!!

Dolgopolov is #1 because you can't guess right week to week whether to fade or follow. Most others as HeeHaww mentioned, might be "unbackable" to some, but that means they might be gold to fade.

It's Tennis, you can't trust anyone.... Dolgo can rip it up when he wants and lose when he wants... Simon is consistant but I watched him lose to Falla 6-2 6-1 1 year half ago. Anyone can be shit on any given day. It's all about the court speed and how each player responds to the speed/bounce

Some of these players are being chucked on here after just one bad game.

Cuevas has been a money making machine in the last year and even against Nadal a bunch of ppl cashed with him taking the 1st set. First time I've actually seen him self-destruct but then again, it was 5 mins off being the latest match ever played in a 3 setter.

Giles Simon shouldn't even be considered on this list wtf.

Also by the way, Fognini is a money maker if you know when to pick your spots. Yes, you will get screwed over from time to time but when on, he's one of the best clay courters.

The ATP launched a match fixing investigation of Davydenko's match against Martín Vassallo Argüello in Sopot of 2 August 2007, after several large bets were placed at an online British gambling company, Betfair, in Argüello's favour after Davydenko had won the first set 6–2. Davydenko withdrew from the match during the third set with a foot injury.[15] Although Davydenko had suffered three first-round defeats in his last three tournaments, was injured in an earlier-round match, and showed signs of injury in the second set,[16] it did not make sense to Betfair that such a heavy betting volume would go in Argüello's direction at that point of time in the match. Per its agreement with the ATP, Betfair notified the Tour.[17][18] It has since been revealed that nine people based in Russia had bet US$1.5M on Davydenko losing while two unknown people would gain US$6M from the loss.[19][20] A total of $7M was wagered on the match, ten times the usual amount.[21] Due to these irregularities, all bets were voided. On September 11, 2008, Davydenko, along with Arguello, were cleared of any involvement in match-fixing. The inquiry, which lasted over a year, was the longest ever held into match-fixing in tennis.[21]

Further controversy also surrounded Davydenko after one of his matches at St. Petersburg Open in October 2007. During his 1–6, 7–5, 6–1 defeat by Marin Čilić, he was given a code violation by umpire Jean-Philippe Dercq for not giving his best effort. He was later fined $2000 (£987) by the ATP, but the fine was rescinded upon appeal.[22] The following week, he lost 6–2, 6–2 to Marcos Baghdatis at the Paris Masters. This generated some controversy, as Davydenko was cautioned by the umpire to do his best during the match.[23]

Going by the way some ppl are calling a player non-bettable, Federer lost to Seppi so he is unbettable. Novak lost to Karlovic = unbettable.

There are a few other good players to bet on.

    Wawrinka
    Krajicek
    Kokkinakis
    Bolelli
    Troiki
    Lu

In recent memory these players have came through for me. Last year, Goffin, Serena, Wozniacki when she didn't play Serena, etc.

PS: Screw Fognini.. cost me thousands over the years. That f'ker!
