    SF Wawrinka +450 vs Federer

Line seems super high despite Wawrinka not showing good form. If Wawrinka can focus he can pretty much play with anyone though. Anyone taking anything on this match?

You guys with ifs crack me up. Look at what is going on in London: nobody has shown anything even remotely close to what Djoker and Feds are doing on the court. If you like a dog, I think Kei has a better chance to make it interesting; he still can produce some sick shots that even Djoker in his current form might not be able to handle but I kinda doubt it. The winning play so far has been to take the highest spread for Djoker & Fed but some folks (including me at times) just want to root for the dog.

That's what's going on now Frugal. I'm getting ev on u19 games with Djok/Kei match. I'm with you on Kei pulling off some shots but Djok is just too much right now. Will be looking forward to Djok/Fed match if they both keep up their current forms. Good luck everyone!

Think you'd be better off taking Wawrinka to win a set @ +175 if you think he is going to be competitive. I think frugal hit the nail on the head though, two guys have been locked in all week and the other guys have just been here filling in the gaps. Wawrinka especially to me is very hard to gauge. He got Berdych on Berdych's worst day. Got crushed by the top dog and then unfocused yesterday and fairly fortunate that Cilic folded in the 3rd after grabbing an early lead.

I think Wawrinka would be good to win a set today with the way Federer is striking the ball. Also think Fed is highly motivated to get one last crack at Djokovic, even if the #1 ranking is no longer a question.

it's a very pretty trophy. and another notch in the hall of fame for Federer.
would not discount his desire to win ATP Tour Finals and finish 2014 on a high note
also there is the money and the large number of points which would edge him that
much closer to reaching #1 again.

Well I was wrong; that weird friendship/Davis Cup dynamic made this an interesting match. I gotta say Wawrinka should be a good fade in France, the crowd there will be much crazier. Feds also looked shaky. I am worried about my Swiss futures. Congrats to Wawrinka ATS backers.

It's an interesting dyanmic for the Davis Cup. You always have a shot with the lineup of jokers France is rolling out: Gasquet, Monfils, Tsonga. The only place that France has a bigger advantage perhaps is doubles depending on who they pair together, although the Swiss can roll out Fed-Wawrinka for everything if they want to. Biggest thing is that Federer has to win his singles match. Wawrinka has always been nervy in DC unless he's playing someone with no skill or form, see Fabio Fognini last time out.

These matches I would not use to gauge their overall ability next week much. Such a different dynamic to play a close friend.

Wawrinka is nervous when he plays in Switzerland.. the crowd against may be a good thing for him.. less pressure
