both of these players have had terrible form...Paire more so because of missing 2 months through injury...Paire will not find form on clay where he needs his big serve to be complete...personally id stay away...you never know when a complete 180 will happen in a player

Ever since his injury, Paire has been nothing but massive disappointment, he has no motivation whatsoever and is just showing up just so that he could collect the round 1 prize money. Andrey isn't all that good on clay but he is definitely more trustworthy than freaking Paire.

Oh, forgot to mention one more point, Andrey was actually the winner of the 2010 Hamburg tournament.

    both ? really ?

Golubev most likely will win easily, has played a lot lately...this is his third tournamet in Germany this summer-clay-tourn so i think he is definetly in a better shape....

take 2-0 for odds around 2.8

If Golubev were such an easy play the books would have it priced much higher than it is, I think the price shows that this will likely be a close match, with both players struggling this year there is no clear play here

^ agreed...that being said i like nieminen for some reason...hes an all rounder and good enough to get into the 2nd round vs a Kamke that has stumbled at the perfect time for jarkko to make it 5-0 h2h

hmm...on second thought this is kamkes home tournament, not just by country but by city....maybe he will be a little fatigued from partying the world cup victory??

    Update:

Golubev is playing very solid tennis, low unforced errors. Paire is getting better, he wants to win but it seems as if Golubev is in it to win it today. If Golubev's level drops, watch out

Paire is still a bit rusty, but he wants it... This match was a complete toss up to begin with

Really? Why are you guys talking like current Paire is a fighter or something, dude is a bigger clown than Fognini and Dustin Brown combined.

What's up with you guys laughing at each other throughout the match every time your "pick" gets ahead on the scoreboard?

No one is laughing at anyone, i can assure you that. Please do not take most of the comments that seriously, i am just saying that Benoit is someone whom you can't completely trust.
