    News on Nadal.....

Nothing official yet, but apparently Nadal's back has flared up on him again. the last two tournaments he was saying. I guess this would be why hes having such a hard time holding serve. Also im not sure if the announcers on NBC are supposed to be giving this information away.....

Not really secret info from the announcers, it's pretty much on every website for every story you read following his win over Mayer. Conspiracy theorists are already thinking he's laying groundwork in case he loses to Djokovic

“I felt a little bit my back, so that’s why I slow down a little bit the serve,” Nadal said after his 31st straight win here, which set up a match with unseeded Serbian Dusan Lajovic. “I felt a little bit from the beginning. In the second match I was not serving that fast, too.” Nadal, who turns 28 on Tuesday, said he did not want to go into details and then tried to play it down, insisting: “I’d rather not talk about my back. You know, I’ve reached week No2. I’ll do my best, I’ll play as best as I can, I’ll put up a good fight to try and win. My back is not that important.”

We'll see. A lot can happen over the course of a week as far as health. Djokovic hasn't exactly looked locked in either. Match against Tsonga should tell a bit about him. Rafa could probably beat Lajovic at 30% in the next round and still win in straights.

They showed some stats that his serves have slowed down because of his back. I think there is a problem with it, but hopefully it's not too bad.

Double elimination? Still likely to be Rafa or Novak. Difficult to see an outsider but anything is possible.

This is exactly the kind of tournament where a sneaky fukk like Berdych could push through.

Yeah he or Ferrer might win unless Djokovic holds up.

Joker or ferrer IMO... Ferrer will get in berdy he head again if they meet... Berdych is too big to be moving laterally as much as ferrer wants him too

Both Rafa and Djokovic have to really love the way the draw has broken down for them both.

Ferrer and Berdych to meet, wait so you need Berdych to beat Gulbis (short fave) and two monster upsets...right
