    This teenager Bencic is the real deal

    I've been watching this 17 yr old play and this teen has the weapons to become a force. Very strong groundstrokes and deadly shot making abilities. Her skills remind me exactly of a young Sharapova when she was a teen.

    Even if she loses to Errani today, she's going to be a force in the next coming years.

    current top-tier players errani, halep, cibulkova, Arad and Li all have great ground strokes, net game, match IQ, and low UFE-count...BUT no power...so they'll always have trouble holding their own serve...they've pretty well maxed out ranking wise...

    but bencic, muguruza, garcia, bouchard and a few other young'uns...have the potential to become real "hitters" (not merely "getters")...and that'll propel them beyond the the current pool of talented "paddy cakers"
