There's no way a player in men's tennis is losing 7 of 8 games in a row, to lose a set 5-7 he led 4-0 without brown envelopes being passed around. Come on now. Bloke in his 30s with no realistic chance of going past the 2nd round without an amazingly lucky draw? A brown envelople was definitely passed around on this one.

I'm just trying to work out why this season it continually happens with every play I touch? Why can't robert just lose normally? 6-2, 6-3?

I keep finding the choker or matchfixer recently. Completely annoying the bejeusus outta me. REALLY!

Lol, its called sport. This happens in every sport and 99% of the time it isn't match fixing. Not to mention its early season so these kind of comebacks and odd wins/losses are amplified.

Nahh man we had a bad run in October with this shit. It happens more than we think. Sometimes were on the winning side and don't notice it. I caught 2 in the last 2 days

Murray up 5-4 30-0 second set... Went on to get broken and lost the set... Trust me he deliberately smashed it long.

Berdych today said fck it and didn't wanna play

Birdshit is shit, trust me. His game is low percentage and requires mental toughness and focus which he doesn't have. You always fade that guy against a grinder in exhibitons. I am so pissed off I missed that match.

Not sure why you would bet on Berdych in the first place. Nishikori loves big servers cause he just returns it twice as fast. This game was either a no play or small play Nishikori.

Tennis is probably the easiest sport to fix, some bookmakers offer plays like this OVER 2.5 double faults, lol

I think you guys got this list, right ?

Discussion of match fixing is quite common amongst tennis bettors and with good reason. Serb tennis player David Savic has become the latest player exposed by the Tennis Integrity Unit to receive a lifetime ban from playing professional tennis.

A Swedish newspaper has published the names on the blacklist of the Tennis Integrity Unit. The Black List (players who have played games where the evidence is so strong that research has been done and / or were involved in repeated games with irregular gambling patterns):

    ATP:
    Victor Crivoi
    Nikolay Davydenko
    Fabio Fognini
    Teymuraz Gabashvili
    Oscar Hernandez
    Philipp Kohlschreiber
    Evgeny Korolev
    Michael Llodra
    Christophe Rochus
    Andreas Seppi
    Potito Starace
    Janko Tipsarevic
    Filippo Volandri

    WTA:
    Victoria Azarenka
    Kateryna Bondarenko
    Sara Errani
    Maria Kirilenko
    Agnieszka Radwanska
    Francesca Schiavone

The "warning list" (players that are monitored, but less suspicious):

    ATP:
    Brian Dabul
    Simone Bolelli
    Carlos Berlocq
    Alex Bogomolov
    Jeremy Chardy
    Marin Cilic
    Flavio Cipolla
    Steve Darcis
    Somdev Devvarman
    Andrey Golubev
    Ivo Karlovic
    Lukasz Kubot
    Igor Kunitsyn
    Wayne Odesnik
    Eduardo Scwhank
    Viktor Troicki
    WTA:
    Dominika Cibulkova
    Eleni Daniilidou
    Romina Oprandi
    Flavia Pennetta
    Virginie Razzano
    Roberta Vinci

There was a match few years ago between Volandri and Gabashvili in St Petersburg, Volandri was up 1 set and 1 break up in the second.
Gabashvili asked for a medical time out, and of course won the match in 3

It means they are all 100 % guaranteed to have fixed matches at one time or another.

What I am confused about is if they did fix before, how come they are just on the 'blacklist' and not banned? Is the tennis integrity unit not like official?

It is official, but the reason is two-fold. The main part of it is that the unit spends most of its time jacking off doing jack shizzle, as well as being incompetent. The other part of it is insufficient evidence and difficulty to make shit happen.

well losing on purpose =/= match fixing for money.
maybe you want to stay fresh for the australian open and do not want to play 10 matches in 14 days(hopman cup/bribane/sydney) (singles + doubles).
some may fake a minor injury before the match(stomach sick, abdominal strain), some retire in game coz they don't want to waste resources etc).
so this black- and warning-list is bullshit to me, why would someone like radwanska or azarenka tank a match for money and risk to get lifetime banned?
the statement "irregular gambling patterns" accuse fixing matches for money and not just tanking a match coz they don't give a damn/need rest in preparation for a big upcoming tournament:

That list has nothing to do with tanking. It's all about fixing for money.
