Only good one of those is Berlocq to me. Kavcic or Struff might take a set.

Stepanek will destroy Kavcic. Remember stepanek plays with heart. Tomic dosnt. Struff will lose as well. Youhzny had a much needed rest.
Now he can play games with Struff. U have a slim chance with Devvarmen. If he can fix his inconsistancies

The two underdogs I saw that have a good shot, well, one was recommended by Matt, is Monaco vs Gulbis and Berlocq vs (insert name).Juan Monaco who is 2-1 historically in matches won against Gulbis.

Mona Barthel is my play of the first round at aussie open. Tempting also to give a little money on Monaco at that odds.

Struff is in no way beating Youzhny. So he took a single set off Cilic? So what? Don't let such minor things sway you. Youzhny is a world class top 10 player atm and I believe he is very much underated by somany. Only way he loses is by being a headcase for 3 sets. Cannot see it though, at all.

The only realistic hit you have there, imo, is Berlocq beating Roger Vaseline, the rest is money flushed down the drain imo.

I didn't bet on Struff because he took one set off Cilic. I did because Youzhny can play crap in Australia and I have been following Struff for most of year 2013 he is a good player, powerful from the baseline, he might have a chance if of course Youz doesn't play his best.

Berlocq is gonna get creamed. He is the epitome of a clay court specialist.

A clay court specialist with 2013 hard court or indoor wins over Isner, Tursunov, Kohlschreiber, Nishikori, Dolgopolov, and Giraldo (x2). Berlocq will beat Rogers-Vasselin. Only concern is rust given that Berlocq has only played one match this year.

That doesnt say much. Isner was injured by the way. Vasselins record far more impressive. Enlighten me how Berlocq could possibly win ?

    Your delusional man

To the guy who said he beat Kohlschreiber, he retired with an injury

Berlocq aint got a chance, face it. The books know this otherwise they would not bait you with the odds.

I don't know about Ze Zhang, I know this Chinese guy can play great tennis and Verdasco could have a bad day... just wondering, this odds is high. Of course it's unlikely to happen but maybe the game spread would be interesting.

Berlocq is not bad at all on outdoor HC.
And man we are talking about Roger-Vasselin here, not Tsonga or Berdych

    @ this.

With the Roger Federer brand logo I'd have thought you'd watch a little more tennis. Berlocq is predominantly at his best on clay but he transcends his claycourt style to work effectivley on the hardcourts too, as do quite many claycourt specialists.

Berlocq dominated south american claycourt challengers and then last season began to make his move on the hardcourts at tour level with the ranking he achieved. He's more than a grinder very dependant on his forehand. I won't run down his game, because it doesn't draw a clear enough picture tbh. You need to watch more tennis outside of the big grandsalms and masters 1000s though.

Berlocq vs Nadal, pushes close in second set.. I've seen this guy on numerous occasions throughout last season produce tough from the baseline and produce shot making of the highest calibre. His PATTERNS OF PLAY are effective on medium to slow hardcourts.

Beating Nishikori at the Indian Wells masters 1000

Slow hardcourt at the Indian Wells Masters 1000 against Murray, pushes close in each set.

This claycourt specialist myth is just bollocks bro. lol Makes me laugh. Watch though, if Vaseline wins in 5 sets, watch the pseudo's come in here and quote all our posts and say they told us so, completely missing the point altogether.

Vasline is also getting very overrated, no idea why Matt has such a love affair with him. He's an attacking player in good form, so instantly he should be beating a baseline grinder in a best of 5 sets on hardcourt at a grandslam? Berlocq is a grinder, but he's also got a lot more when he's up for the contest.

    Look beyond the shallow surface.

    Watch his match against Nadal.

I love Berlocq, he's not a player who will let you down, win or lose you can be sure he'll fight his life to win the match
