Matt, I'm backing Nadal no matter who he plays but I'm thinking of betting him now because I have feeling Djoker might lose. My only worry is injury to Nadal, what do you think? The one time I made a play like this in my life I got burned. Russel Westbrook got injured the day after after I took OKC to win the West for a grand.

The line will be about same as the futures for Nadal which sits at -115 right now. Not a great idea to be backing Nadal now I think. A much more likely scenario is not Djoker losing but the scenario in which he comes out in force and demolishes Wawrinka. Then the line will move in Djoker's favor.

I was thinking about buying Nadal's future at ~+200 at the start of US Open but I did not; of course now I am full of regrets. At least I put 10u on Serena to win at -115. I think anything can happen in the final and I am not going to bet big on Nadal against Djoker.

In terms of total games won, here are the percentages of the remaining four players (games won / games lost x 100). If Novak is priced at anything above $2 for the final, I'm getting on.

    Djokovic: 285

    Nadal: 240
    Wawrinka: 153
    Gasquet: 127

I think if they meet leaning towards Joker this time

So many close matches this year and Joker did not get many breaks

Loopy clay court player, LOL. This is a career grand slam champion in his prime, you idiot.

It is, but the fool does have a point. These odds are very surprising to me. I personally think they're spot on, but I'm still surprised those are the odds.

I know that Djoker will probably show up tomorrow and make a match out of it, like Azarenka did it today. But given Nadal's quality of play, Nadal +2.5 @+105 is the play for me. Djoker was already pushed to the limit by Wawrinka and he did not find that extra he needs to compete with Nadal right now.

It may be the pick, but is it really more likely to happen than the odds would imply? :/

We shall see what happens, not whether that particular outcome is more likely to happen or not.

I also assume that line is an error on your part.

Yeah it should be -2.5 Nadal (game line not set line). To gauge the probability, you need to have them play ~100 matches and see the outcome, obviously not possible. I am going with my judgement call and what saw from their matches at the US Open and before that during the hardcourt season.

Of course, but isn't it because what you saw from their past two months the odds are @ 1.8 and not @ 3?

One side note dude. Keep in-fighting with people on these forums that voice an opposite opinion than yours. Its really progressive towards handicapping an outcome of a match.

This line is a total trap. Nasal should be -200 or higher. Joker lost to Isner on hard courts. Seems like books know something and plan on burying Nasal backers

Djokovic is playing nowhere close to Nadal's level. Given the players current form and Nadals streak, this line is a joke.

Nadal against Djokovic @ 1.75 is a trap!? The inverted odds would have been "a trap".

Yeah, sorry Fidel; should not have call you an idiot right away. Although you statement about Nadal being a loopy clay-court player is pretty idiotic. He is a bit loopy and probably is a bit autistic but in no way he is only a clay-court specialist. Plus, these hardcourts are quite slow so even that statement works in his favor.
