Svitolina got game ......take her over Cadantu today
I'm really impressed with Svitolina's game on this surface. She moves great and hits with a lot of pace for such a compact size. This chic is going to rise in the rankings considerably this year. She has a decent serve and more importantly can stay in long grueling rallies if needed. She clearly exposed Vekic weaknesses yesterday and she'll do the same to Cadantu today. Getting her at -160 is an excellent bet.

Cadantu can hit well too and she is no quitter. I do not think she will be spraying the court with UEs like Vekic did yesterday. I like Svitolina but I think over is the play here. The last match has no relevance since Svitolina is so young and that match was held 2 years go.
I don't hold much weight on that. That was back in 2011 when Svitolina was only 16 years old. She has progressed tremendously since. Even back then , she still gave Cadantu a hard time with a tie breaker. Also that was on clay. Hardcourt is Svitolina's best surface. The way she played this whole tournament makes me believe she can win it all even against Peer tomorrow if the two should win today.Originally Posted by Gus Fring
Cadantu hits hard also but she moves better on the dirt than hardcourts , evident of all her matches this tournament which all went tough three setters. She tends to spray a phuckload of errors too. Svitolina doesnt hit with a lot of topsin. They are mostly flat and low winners which will give Cadantu problems today similar to what she did to Vekic.
Svitolina will probably win, but in 3 sets. These lower-ranked WTA players have issues playing with the lead.
Sivotlina for me as well. Hard courts not Cadantu's forte.
im on Cadantu today. this will be Sivotlina´s fourth game in four days while Cadantu had July 25 off. im just going with 3 units on this one.

these games really are coinflips. I will start only betting the underdog in WTA, no matter who is playing.

wow what a great 7th game that was .....both players going blow for blow.
I would not say Svit is error free, but it is clear that she can dominate the exchange. Catmandu just does not have the game to easily win the points.
Catmandu is fighting. Just wish she'd win more games in the first set. She does look like a witch, so hopefully she will somehow win the second set.
That 7th game should be Cadantu's, now so tough to win the set mentally
After seeing her play all tournament long and confirmed with that Vekic thrashing yesterday, I made up my mind and wasnt going to let this opp pass by......stuck with my gut instinct to unload on her regardless of the opponent today. CAD is also makeing SVI good cause shes not makeing her move on the court that much. She always hit the ball where SVI is standing and thats not good in tennis. If moveing her more UE will come.

I think Svit is good only at hard courts and mediocre opponents. No need to back her up anywhere else.
Yesterday was more about Vekic on a bad day than Svit. But Svit played good
Good cal MDF. You think she can take Peer in the final ? Peer has been playing relatively well and she is of course more experienced.
