Ferrer will beat Tsonga tomorrow.......-150 is a Gift

A lot of hype for Tsonga tomorrow in his matchup against the Spaniard. Sure he will have the heavy crowd support but I'm afraid it won't be enough. Tsonga has played an excellent tournament thus far but his weak backhand will be a liability tomorrow. Ferrer is an incredibly smart player that knows how to exploit weaknesses in his opponents game. Tsonga may win some cheap points with his serve but when that first serve percentage starts dropping later in the match and it turns into a grinder baseline game, Tsonga will be toast because Ferrer will keep pounding that weak backhand of the Frenchman's.

With no pressure on him to win, Ferrer is at his most dangerous.

    ------------------------------------------FERRER -150 -------------------------------------

tsogna is a streaky player, now is no time to go against him... this is his time. Ferrer is certainly vulnerable

If this was grass that would be more important.

Bigger groundstrokes? No way, I'll take Ferrer's more consistent groundstrokes all day every day. You're going to see Ferrer expose how weak and inconsistent that Tsonga backhand is.

Everybody in entitle to their opinion, Tsonga generate more pace with his shots
Ferrer will be running around all day behind the baseline

Tsonga may generate more pace but clay is about consistency more than power. Tsonga can't devise points like Ferrer on clay. If this was grass or hardcourts then possibly Tsonga but he's gonna get carved up by Ferrer on clay.

This will get played for sure. Still about 3 hrs left of daytime. Ferrer/Tsonga wont have long grueling points like Nadal/Djoker so the sets will be less timely.

the only problem with anything you just said is you waited to take him at -150 when he was -140 earlier. never the less doesn't look like its going to matter.

At the rate this is going, it might be over WTA style. Tsonga losing the first set 6-1.

I booked my bet last night at -150. Noobs on Tsonga drove it down -142. More power to them. I also sprinkled some on the Ferrer -2 games line as well.

Good call, -150 was infact a gift.

Considering the match was over from the get-go.

What do we think the line will be for Nadal/Ferrer and is it worth the play on Nadal?

lol the line will be ridiculous obv. and un-bettable.

As well as Ferrer has played, he just has no chance vs Nadal. Zero.

Actually Ferrer didn't even play that well. He was solid overall, but at some point he just kept the ball in play as it was pretty much just a matter of time before Tsonga generated an unforced error. I mean, come on, 50+ unforced errors? But yeah, Ferrer has no chance in the final.

    Good call btw OP.

Well I meant how well he's played this slam overall. The fact that he's yet to drop a set shows how consistent he's been. Maybe not the hardest of draws, but he did play well vs all his opponents. And it sucks that Nut-Case Tsonga showed up today and Ferrer wasn't tested at all. But I'm sure he would've responded well had Tsonga played even remotely well.
