He will get one, Rafa's knees will cause him to miss at least one in the next two or three years.

Yeah that sucks. I feel sorry for people who did a lot of live betting because I can imagine they were crapping themselves no matter who they were on. The only thing I knew in that whole match was that Nadal was going to lose the tiebreak. I just felt it in my bones. Everything else after the 2nd set was just so unpredictable. Even Djokovic running into the net. Like how often do you see that on the Tour? I can't even remember the last time. So crazy.

Thought about it. Got Nadal in a parlay with the Yanks. Just did Ferrer 3-2 and Tsonga 3-1 and 3-2. Hopefully, one of them hit.

Joker running into the net was a blessing for Nadal backers. Had he not done it, Joker won it.

You'd think there'd be some allowance for that if the ball was unplayable but there's not. I did a search and apparently this happened with Schiavone and Kuzzy a couple of years ago. Same thing - Schiavone hit a winner but she ran into the net before the ball bounced twice so she lost the point. I guess it makes it less ambiguous for all involved because what you might consider a winner I could argue I had a chance of reaching it (even if I knew I had no hope) and then that would turn into a mess. Same rule for everyone in every situation seems fair to me.

Wouldn't call myself lucky prior to this play.
Lost 3 games in extra innings, blew a pair of 3 run leads in the 8th and 9th inning, all within 6 days.
Running pretty bad with the luck factor. I was due.
But that match was way longer than it shoulda been.
Nadal choked the double-break match points in the 4th and made this a contest.

AND, probably rightfully so...one of the few guys who can challenge him on clay.

Those are pretty bad. Although you did hit a Red Sox's RL with a walk off 3-run HR in the 9th.

Nadal wasn't lucky.. When you wager on a guy 57-1 at a place, you expect him to win. He has in control for 3.5 sets... He had one lapse and lost the 4th.. Great battle in 5th

Might have been lucky at the end, but Nadal also could have put Djokovic away in the 4th and did not. Altogether, this was exactly what most expect between the top two dudes. Djokovic may have also done us a favor in being able to fight back because Ferrer is going to be fresh, fresh, fresh while Rafa will have a little wear on him from that match.
