Jamie Hampton is not a viable 2nd option, so I'll welcome anything.

If I dont win this, Ill be upset. Getting Nadal was such a steal.

It looks like Kohlschreiber is in for Indian Wells after all.

I'd like to use him instead of Fognini if it's ok to do that swap EP?

I think I had been pretty much zero-ing anyone who I didn't have a roster posted for from week-to-week, that's probably why. I think we had originally set it up where we thought about letting a roster carry from week to week if someone didn't submit one, but we had some wonky weeks early where it was just WTA or just ATP, so I looked for rosters each week and then we've had at least one abandon their team more or less with nothing since Week 1.

This is again where this first section is an absolute beta test on what needs to be fixed and what needs to stay the same, etc. If everyone thinks I need to roll over rosters from week to week for anyone who didn't make changes - I can do that, I'll have to go back and re-score for some people.

It doesn't apply to you because I think you set lineups the majority of weeks, but with most fantasy sports - teams that are more or less abandoned, usually don't remain eligible to win any thing so I didn't want to waste time scoring for people who haven't done anything since Week 1. And I didn't think it was fair to the guys who were playing most weeks to have someone who isn't involved with a chance to compete for the prize.

I guess people let me know what you want me to do on retro scoring for people who didn't change from week to week. I probably should have brought this up sooner, but kind of lost it in the shuffle of keeping up with scoring and everything else. Apologies.

I've been emailing you my week to week roster religiously through email and have an outgoing message to you on 2/23 for that week. I did in fact have Nadal, Haas, Seppi, Isotomin, and Sharapova in there. This isn't me fighting for a few points here or there competitively, I just wasn't sure about how things were scored.

With you doing all the leg-work (which sucks I'm sure), no one else really gets to see the scoring system week to week or who is scoring the points for most players. Maybe a google document would work best where everyone could view the scoring week to week and see the adjustments?

I think a roll-over for rosters would definitely be a positive. Like most fantasy sports, if you were to forget to set your roster for the following day or week, you would have whatever lineup you previously had set for scoring purposes and simply not have a zero.

Ihave that email for that one and you got your full score for that lineup for sure it was the week before where I did not have anything. I will look back and check again for anything on that.

If I need to go retro on scores, I will try to do that this weekend.

I apparently do not have an outgoing sent message to you am for that week and it was in the unsent drafts. Guess it never went through. That would be my bad then.

Sony Ericsson (Miami) main draw play begins on Wednesday, so have lineups set by then for this last tournament of the 1st section.

Will have a scoring update from Indian Wells tonight. Sorry for the lack of activity. Traveling a lot over the weekend and the new job has not allowed me to get myself set into a new routine where I want to come home and get back in front of a computer.

Apologies for not getting these updates done. I am just going to combine Indian Wells-Miami into a final update for the final standings of this section. My new job just does not afford me the free time I used to have during the day to compile things and dedicate more of myself to this. Getting home at night, mostly trying to get into a groove on betting other sports and scouting some tennis - so scoring updates always fall into line late on the list.

I don't think I will have the time to be able to continue this for the clay swing, but if anyone wants to pick it up and run something - be my guest. I just don't want to go through another couple months where I'm late getting things updated and I think that's going to be the norm with this new job, so I'd rather you guys have somebody who can do it in a more timely manner than me if people want to move forward.

Sorry for the delays again, real life doesn't really suck - but it sure does cut down on some of the things you can do!

Its all good EP. As long as you have the time to send me the points when this is done and over with, I don't think anyone will be too mad.

I have time for counting points and updating scores regularly, that is, if people want to go on with Clay Season.

And yes, I forgot, what was the prize format for this Part One? TOP3 get points or ... ? and how do we proceed with overall prize pool ?

The original idea on the prize pool was that they are given out at the end of each section and then everyone ships in more points if they want in on the next section of play for a new entry fee. This was to allow for newbies to have a crack at joining even if they missed a section.

I made the prize pool an even 560. I said at the beginning I was going to scrape some off the top for clerical work, but with the delays and all - figured I would throw it all in and also not have to worry about adding up the extras for transactions. Honestly could not find what we agreed for the payout, I think it was 50% 1st, 30% 2nd, 20% 3rd. That's what I am paying out. djoking, gave you 40 for finishing ahead of me just because you got real close to the money - felt you deserved something.
