The Indian duo is @ -145 and in the best form of their season right now. They came in as champions from Paris and have parlayed that into a run to the Finals. Beating Leander Paes with whom there has been a well-publicized grudge against since the Olympic selection process was big for this team yesterday. That could make it a little shaky early on today if their emotions are somewhat flat, but they have shown the ability to get up this entire tournament. They face Granollers-Lopez today who have played well in their own right, but have shown some frailty on-serve at times. The Indian team have shown a great nerve in this tournament with some tense super breakers to win matches. The Spanish pair have beaten this team twice, but both came on clay where they hold a more significant advantage. If Bhupathi-Bopanna serve strong like they have for most of this tournament, they should have a shot to win today.
They beat Paes/Stepanek only on champions tiebreak and champions tiebreak offten win pair more weak.(Bryans brothers lose in champions tiebreak too in group and lose place in 1/2). I think against Gran/Lop they havenot chances, their serving would uneffective they doesnot made many aces in final. Gran/Lop also leads H2H. Tournament in Paris was just one in this year for Bhu/Bop.
About what was expected. Went to the super breaker, but they got crushed with a poor start. Too bad I didn't take both teams to win 2-1 on the props. Thought about it, but that's the way shit goes some times.
I do this all the time. When good doubles teams are playing one another (pretty much this whole tournament), I take both teams to win 2-1 and throw them into a bunch of parlays... this way when I win, I win around 5-times more...
