    Question for the tennis fans

question from a not so big tennis fan who isnt quite sure how the tennis season works. how much longer until another tournament or something of that sort rolls around where i can get some action on the big names, sharapova, serena, murray, joker, etc? The tennis card on dsi for the past week has been nothing but names of players whos names I dont know and cant pronounce

Been Davis Cup this week. But there is an ATP event on just about every week usually.

Not many 'big' events left this year though.

For women, check this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_WTA_Tour
Any tournament colored gray, purple, red will have the big names. Also, add Dubai as a special exception (gigantic prize money compared with other WTA premier tourneys).

For men, check this wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_atp_tour
Any tournament colored gray or red will have the big names. Most of the green ones should have a few big names (usually will need at least $1.2 million USD prize money).

The next tournaments to watch out for are the East Asian tourneys (Beijing & Tokyo) for men, and Tokyo for women.

The Shanghai 1000 for men will also have the big guys.
