    The bet you can't lose.

Today is a day where Tennis is actually gonna give us a gift. Wozniacki will not lose to Kirilenko. THe juice in my book is -155. It's not even funny. They are probably considering the fact that she has an "injured" knee. I didn't even see it impact her game yesterday. It's time to go hard and take some money from those bookies. The worst case scenario, is that if the injury contines, Woz is gonna retire if she can't go on. So this bet is either gonna cash or gonna push. Let's get that money!

**Might I add that she is 5-0 against Kirilenko 3-0 on hard courts.

I am completly on the other side of this. I saw this line this morning and thought it should be a pick. The last time they played was 2010 so that is not a factor. I love the way kirilenko is playing right now. She is striking the ball wonderfully. Woz goes with her serve and you never know what day she wants to get it in. I love the positive in this and will be placing a large bet on her. Good luck though..

i had alot of money on Caroline yesterday and when she went down with that knee injury i was so nervous, I do believe it gives her trouble today even though shes 20-0 at this tourney if Kirilenko runs her any at all Caroline most likely will fold up bc the open starts next week, i would stay away from this day bc of the fear of the unknowing of knee issue

Wozniacki is inconsistent and can't be trusted. Kirilenko is playing the best tennis of her career. Plus she is way hotter. This is why I took Kirilenko at +135.

Just like I expected...If Woz wasn't winning the first set, she was gonna retire. ONce again, this was the bet I couldn't lose!

Nothing in betting is a LOCK - there exist no such thing. Woz would have lost the match if she hadn't retired...Kirilenko moved faster and was the better player.....

In my book, there is no action if the match is not completed. How was this not a lock? Didn't I predict the outcome?

It was as far from luck as it gets if 99.99% of people lost with your selection.
It was only luck in your unique book.

But, keep on predicting. We will keep track.
Would be interesting to see how soon you'll give up.

that's not very unique, plenty of other books with that rule, and duder called it clear as day in the original post: So this bet is either gonna cash or gonna push.

if you tailed without knowing your books rules as to this-it was not far-fetched in the least that she might retire today-that's your problem.

Lol why the hatred? I don't make tons of threads with "lock of the year" etc like other people do. And I have my own "prediction" thread in my mlb forum. I'm above 65 win percentage and over +150 units on the year in less than 200 posted plays . Where is yours?

    Here ya go.

bodog and/or bovada I am positive on, see it on others over the years-this as a rule is not too uncommon:
If either player retires before the match is completed then the event will be settled as no action

You game me one or two names?
What do you think the percentage of tennis bettors who use those books is?
    I'd say almost 0% mayby 0.01%

So almost every one who tailed lost.

Dude.. if at the start of the thread I CLEARLY state that its either gonna win or push and someone decides to tail me not knowing if their book pushes on an incomplete match, then they have no business being in the gambling business. Just give it up man, I called it and if someone lost because they couldn't read. So be it.

bet365, Sportingbet, Centrebet, Bookmaker, William Hill... Those are juts the ones off of the top of my head that use this rule.

you seemed quite concerned for those who blindly tailed here, no?

and it looks like you're also dead wrong on your maybe 0.01% of books using these rules also (see Shari's post above)

Just remembered SIA is another one.

It's good to keep money in a couple of books with different tennis rules if you bet this sport somewhat regularly. The rules can really be used to your advantage and help you either win or at least save cash you otherwise would've lost.
