#2: Shvedova-Jankovic Over 21 (-105)
Shvedova had trouble with the heat-humidity combo in Cincy. Humidity very low in Dallas today. Temps downright Fall like around 90. Her match also starts when the sun starts to fade away, so don't expect a repeat of her retirement from last week. Jankovic still isn't winning much, but she is still competing hard and I expect that from both today.
Sure do love watching these wenches exchange breaks Erakovic is blowing chance after chance to close the set and under out. Typical WTA should see Keothavong win this set and then get smashed in the 3rd.
#3: Bouchard +115 This line makes little sense to me based on current form and Bouchard's ability on this surface. I'll bite on this stupid line to finish day one in Dallas. Bouchard has the court time in qualis and Voskoeboeva just has not been good lately, so getting plus money is a large trap - but I ain't no beaver.
I was just up in Ft Worth EP. Then the next weekend in Dallas, huge Special Olympics event we hold at TBarM. Guys who own that place are cool as shit. One of them wanted to hit balls with me after one of the afternoons on the indoor courts. He was not that good, but it was good fun. I like that place. I think the tment is in Los Colinas, right?? Are you going to get to go to the matches at all??
I think this one is in Grapevine. The men's event in Dallas in the Spring is in Las Colinas. I don't know, probably depends on who is left and the weather at the end of the week. Supposed to be back in the mid 90s at the end of the week.
We have a cool front kind of coming in tomm here in Houston. Highs like 90, should be nice! Morning could be like 60's man, haha. My older bro lived in Grapevine, I didn't get up there much. Good luck tomm on the matches
Going to be a mega cool day and I would think slower conditions. Showers most of the day, but clearing late afternoon when the matches are set to start. Mid 70s.
Still raining here right now. Still supposedly going to clear around 4pm local time right around when the 1st matches are scheduled. Might be delayed slightly, but should see play by 5pm at the latest. Could be a tricky day in Dallas with the conditions changed. Temps will be even cooler than yesterday's high 80s/90, but much more humidity from the rain. Still think that may slow it down. Going to tread cautiously with one early play and see how things look. Might not make any more or may make more depending on the look of the courts/play.
#4: Hercog +5 [-102] Vinci has been in good form since Montreal, but if the conditions do play slower - Hercog is someone I think could benefit as she plays much better on slower surfaces vs. quick hard courts. I think if it plays somewhat slower, Hercog has a much better chance of being competitive and can keep within this number.
It should be the best match of the day if both play to the level they have in recent weeks. Sun out now, but still very reasonable temps. Hercog held her serve twice the whole match LOL ... Love these ditzy wenches.
