Joker is only -375 against Tsonga

i might throw some cash on Tsonga. he is a warrior right now and just destroying the ball its scary. worried about fatigue though

Any thing can happen, but he hasn't faced anyone with a return game yet. He will have to work 100% harder than he has in any match. Line would have been higher if Hewitt had not taken a set. I could see trying the spread. This is going to mostly be a mental battle for Tsonga. First time against Djokovic since the French choke job.

man, Djoker facing a loaded pistol

beat Tsonga, Mug, then Fed for the goal

he's better than the first 2, but still a tall order

rather see anybody in final vs Fed except Tsonga.

That french open match was absolutely brutal for Tsongas confidence, I'm surprised he bounced back from that with that nice wimby run

Tsonga is by far the strongest player on tour and one of the fittest. He seldom fatigues and is usually better as matches progress due to his superior strength and conditioning. He did play 5 sets in 2 matches yesterday, which is never favorable for anyone. He is solidly #5-6 in the world and a step up for Joker as well.

Although I am passing on this match, I expect Joker to show why he is the best in the world, showing off the best return game to ever play the sport and win. His recent mediocre form is enigmatic and may be indicative of lack of focus/motivation or even nagging physical ailments. This prevents me from making a play. However, Joker has shown a tendency to play to his competition, and did look impressive spanking Hewitt in the 3rd set of yesterdays match when it mattered. He realizes Tsonga is a step up for him as well, and should execute against a player he likely beats 85% of the time. GL if you bet this match, should be fun to watch to see which Joker shows up today.

HeSuperior conditioning on Tsonga? LoL. Strength, sure. Conditioning wise I think he is above average, but a lot of the reason he may seem strong in matches is because he doesn't expend energy a lot. You call it superior conditioning, I call it somewhat lazy. Often he will just engage in the John Isner serve fest with opponents he could work over much quicker if he put forth a full effort IMO.

To me, that is what keeps him out of being in the conversation with the Big Four ... An unwillingness to always engage his opponent in constructing points. He is capable of doing it, just not consistently.

tsonga strength is serve and jokers strength is the return of serve. I am tore about this match as the french man is one of my fav players and I love betting on him. Joker seems to be playing a little up and down right now so not sure what to think of it. I think joker will make a statement today though. Going pass and watch.

I put a nickle on TSONGA +1.5 sets. At even money I think it's very good value. If Tsonga maintains his strong serving, he will take a set from Djoker today.

Tsonga's serve was decent today but his groundstrokes sucked roosters.
