Do you like Malisse ML -125 & Lorenzi +3.5 -105 tomorrow?

Liked both plays. Mahut is 3-0 versus Lorenzi but last 2 games they played on hard surface were on 2009 and 2005. In these 3 games, Mahut never won any game to nil.

    2012 Wimbledon

    Mahut 3 6 5 6 7 6
    Lorenzi 2 3 7 7 5 2

    2009 Cherbourg challenger

    Mahut 2 3 6 6
    Lorenzi 1 6 3 2

    2005 Andrezieux challenger

    Mahut 2 4 6 6
    Lorenzi 1 6 1 4

If Lorenzi can win one set, he got a great chance to cover handicap. One game may result in TB. My score projection is,

    1set Set Mahut 7-6 TB
    2nd Set Lorenzi 7-5
3rd Set Mahut 6-3 (Even if he loses 6-2, still we win)

Mahut was not very impressive vs Isner. He made too many double faults. I doubt he is good enough to beat Lorenzi by 4.

Don't particularly care for the Lorenzi pick. On a hard surface, big servers can control him fairly easily and his hard court resume in general is not very good. Mahut isn't the most consistent guy in the world, but if his serve is thumping ... I can see him putting Lorenzi away in straights and potentially covering. Lorenzi would need to get into his service games early in the 1st set to set a tone I think to have a better chance to cover.

Not sure about Malisse. My pre-tourney read was that he would flop earlier rather than later. Ebden has been a bit of smoke & mirrors in escaping matches lately, but he's been getting better on this surface. Tough one to call.
