    Don't miss this!!!

ATP - SINGLES: Atlanta (USA), hard

Gilles Muller (63rd) vs Andy Roddick (27th)

Head to head, Roddick leads 3-1 with his last victory coming in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) last March 24, 2012 while Muller's last victory against him was a memorable 3 straight tiebreak sets but that was way way back 2005.

In this tournament, Muller has been cruising as he has won all matches without losing a set; while Roddick has 1 match which went the distance but that was against the tournament's top seed, John Isner. Although, Muller defeated tournament seed #2 Mardy Fish it wasn't convincing as Fish retired and if you want to compare Roddick and Fish, their head to head is 9-3 in favor of Roddick. What about John Isner and Muller? It-s 3-0 for Isner. So there really is no question on who is going to win this match, but with such a low price, we just can't bet on Roddick ML.

VERDICT: Andy Roddick 2-0 & Andy Roddick -3.5

Looks like Roddick is not himself today. Double faults in game 2 cost him his serve.

Betting the -1.5 sets in a 2 set win match format isnt easy to beat. The books usually post a super sharp line on the set betting. All it takes is one bad game or break from a player like Roddick(with absolutely no return game)and you're toast in a short format match.

Thanks, MDF. I'll take note of that. What about my other pick?

I like your pick on that one. I believe Cibulkova should win. Bartoli may take a set but I think if Cibulkova serves decently today(especially the 2nd serve) and doesnt let Bartoli pound the second serve, she should prevail. Best of Luck.

Thanks again, MDF. You are right about my bets on the Roddick - Muller match. It's a complete wreck. Roddick not up to the task today.

I've been taking a break from posting plays. Had a few tough losses earlier in the week but notched some wins here the last few days. Good Luck on your plays.
