big WTA dog for Wednesday
Babos +540 over Petrova. I saw her play last week and her first match here. She absolutely punishes second serves. Petrova is in fine form but always flakes out in grand slams relatively early. If her first serve % is around 50% I think Babos takes it rather easily. I watched the Babos/Safafova match last week @ Birmingham and feel decently confident here.

Pironkova +1200 (against Sharapova) I wasnt impressed last Sharapova match. The least i want to bet against Sharapova, but Pironkova is grassgoat and been semis in Wimbeldon and had beaten Sharapova

I thought Babos was a force earlier in the year, then she surprised me by getting steamrolled a couple of times, including at the French. I'd still take Babos if she was playing, say, Schiavone or Stosur. But Petrova who is 12-0 in sets on grass this year will, I think, prove to be too much for her.
Speaking of Petrova, I put $1 on her to win the whole thing.

They're on now.
4-3 Petrova with a break from the first service game. Babos takes her to 40-30 nearly every game but can't seem to get to deuce to fish for a break. Let's see.
And as soon as I post this, it's 0-40 on Petrova's serve. 3 break points to even it at 4-4.
damn hope this hits.. i accidentally put in 3 units on this match.. that would be a nice $1500..
if babos can win this set, its a brand new game. she always leads out in front but ends up giving up the point. -__-

Probably a wise move. Play suspended due to darkness, I suppose they'll finish it out Thursday early morning AM EST. Babos has the disadvantage of serving first at 5-5, players usually dislike serving first resuming play from an interrupted match.
I hate suspense...... plus I'm on a bad roll... last three matches that got suspended and resumed the next day.... I lost.

I had no idea this match was up last on Wed. Oh well. If Babos has enough gall to win the second set (5-5 now), I think Petrova will pack it in. She's played a whoooooole lotta tennis lately. I'd imagine the live line to be something like Petrova @ -500 right now...

Yep, Babos takes it in the breaker. I would imagine she has a ton of momentum going into the 3rd set, but it is WTA so nothing would surprise me.
Petrova's first service game in the 3rd is in deuce. Perhaps a good sign. Let's see.
