    i hear ya man i had Ferrer at 34:1 odds to win this tourney... i nead Nadal to get hurt for Ferrer to win i think.... unless heres a miracle.... if that dosnt happen i think its all over man. Rather get bac to the hard surfaces so someone other than Nadal wins

    How can anyone hate Nadal? He's the most gracious guy on the Tour. Compliments everyone, stayed in the match against Ferrer at the Aussie Open even though he could barely walk just because he respected him so much that he wanted him to get the legitimate win and not just a retirement, never makes excuses for his losses, doesn't showboat or excessively celebrate after a win, etc...

    Plenty of other guys I'd choose to hate before Nadal.

    I think you'll find in life that no matter what you do/how nice you are etc. someone will find some reason ANY reason to hate you. In this case im guessing baskets has lost bets against nadal

    If anything I'd think more people would be cheering for him now because of his struggles with Djokovic during the past year so I was surprised by baskets' post. He's the best clay courter the game will probably ever see and figured out how to adjust his game to excel on other surfaces that he wasn't always so comfortable on. So you could be right because I can't see any other reason for disliking the guy.

    I'd put Djoko and Fed ahead of him in that race. Novak with his allergies, gluten diet, etc. Fed complaining about the balls, scheduling, crowd noise, etc. But either way, I like all 3 of them. I couldn't stand Novak for a long time but he's grown on me now.

    I forgot about that because I jumped on a couple of days ago. Wish I'd bet $100 flat on everything on TI during this tournament instead of small bets most of the time as I've shockingly had a great tournament. I should probably ignore all of the tourneys leading up to a Slam more often.

    That sounds like a silly JJ Gold question. Nadal has won 91% of his career matches on clay ... 91%. Even if Djokovic pulls off the upset, he's got about five more French Open titles to win before he's even a blip on the radar compared to Nadal.
