Price says it all. This price was more than double this just a month ago at the Australian Open. Fed has looked poor in winning this week. DelPo has steamrolled the last two rounds. DelPo at plus money is the only way to go here for me.

    Eagles I think your right

Plus Fed does not like playing this guy as far as the mental side

Fed never got over USOPEN loss to him

Del Potro shattered who I consider the most in shape player after Nole and Murray in this moment.
I saw the first set today, he was such a wall and served so good: 12/12 points won on first serve in first set, 23/26 in total with a 75% of points won on serve.
I expected some difficult for Roger with Davydenko but I did not see the match; I saw the match against Nieminen, if he will play like that he won't win with this Juan Martin, and from what I heard Federer played really bad (for its standard) today.
    I'll pick Del Potro.

He was arguably worse today. I watched the whole match. He really only seemed to get into the match in the 2nd set when Davydenko tweaked a knee or leg issue and Davy was never the same after that - yet he still pushed Federer to the end. A healthy DelPo has been the best player here this week IMO. Beating Berdych as you said and the way he did it - far more impressive. Anyone who expects Federer to automatically "raise his level" any more doesn't watch tennis. Del Potro skipped Davis Cup specifically to prep for the tour and this portion of the season. If he wins Sunday, then his choice to skip is warranted based on getting this title.

I'm liking the OVER here alot. In all likelihood this goes to 3 sets which means over is a hit. And even if it dosen't there's a good chance of a tie-break as both players serving well and Fed will struggle returning Del Potro so he should be able to hold serve as well. 6-4 7-6 type game is def possible, if not a 3 setter. Over is the best play IMO.

Coach remember what happened less than a month ago when these 2 played in Aussie Open?? All im sayin is Fed was having downtime during the majority if 09 season but has owned Del Potro in the last 2 matchups since then having won last 5 sets in a row...

Tennis is one of the most psychological games there is imo and in these smaller tournaments Fed has always had it over DP...GL

ill take fed vs you for 500. paypal the winner? I'm dead serious about being willing to take your action. I'll side with the legend and not lose any sleep if he blows it. I'd punch myself in the dick if i bet against federer and lost based on your reasoning. Not trying to get in trouble with this web site if thats against the rules and if you'd rather wager a different amt I'm fine with that also. I wouldn't bet a random guy on the internet more than that though, but your 35,000 posts make you seem legit. I'm off to the bars. My guess is this whole convo never goes anywhere. I accept this bet ....if you will go thru with it. A lower amount is fine if you are more comfortable with that amount.

Del Po. There is money to be made fading Federer during the next few years in certain spots.

History does matter here! Prime example of this is what happened in the Aussies; Fed vs Nadal. Fed looked about as good a form as you could expect and just had a meltdown against an opponent hes struggled with in the past, who was actually not in the best form on hard surface at that point. So not too confident with Potro here, but gonna throw some just cuz of the value in +. But big play on the over!

You helped me win a good amount of coin this week eaglesfan. I think you are a much better tennis capper. You might be wrong on this match though. I saw in the other thread you're only taking it small. It's all good then. Thanks for some good picks this week.

why is that? You'd just be betting against the guy who is quite possibly the best Tennis player who ever lived....to me getting him at -149 seems like a gift(ive been wrong a few times b4 lol) but i will bet a few bucks on him just to get the day started. Got Mich St at -2.5 early last night so am excited to get to that game at 1pm est...and whatever i may win today i'm putting it all on the of the Rangers tonight...
