    Roddick Hewitt

Late Night Match. I am seeing Roddick at about -340 at BetOnline. Does anyone have an opinion one way or another in this match?

I am wondering myself. I've been watching slams for the last 4 years but I don't know jack. ALso want to bet this- ML opened at -300. I already have Roddick as my last anchor in some parlays. Thinking about putting down some more. Any good thoughts on this?

If Roddick is the last part of your parlay let it ride. Don't get Greedy!!! In fact depending on how much you are going to win I would recommend hedging with Hewitt to ensure a profit. Bet some on Hewitt ML to ensure your going to win if the price is right or stand pat. Don't not play him on top of your parlay, no value not a smart move.

I would like some others opinions on the match however.

Have you been watching them play?

I watched the Haase match. I can say that Haase made it easy for Roddick. Didn't put up much fight at all, Roddick looked good though.

I can tell you that Roddick moneyline opened at -300 thats where I parlayed him.

Regardless of watching them play it is not a smart move long term when you stand to win money on a parlay to risk even more. You can ensure yourself a profit if you bet the dog here. Just trying to give you my 2 cents. Why gamble when your at the point where you can get guaranteed money

I think if A-Rod can bring the serve it will be no problem. If not? Could be interesting. Laying off betting this, too much juice for my liking.

Even though Roddick is nowhere near his top form of previous years, Hewitt has no chance to win. Roddick's serve is still dominant and I cant see Hewitt breaking it. I got Roddick at -350 and not sweating the juice as this will be an easy win for Roddick.

I don't think either of them is much good these days, but Hewitt has never laid down for a beating when playing in or for Australia that I am aware of. It really seems to drive him.

Over 38½ seems like the only play to me. Although that number might be a little high if it doesn't go to 5 sets?

If it does not go 5 not much wiggle room there. Tough one here.

What a terrible day filled with overtime losses, retirements, and other unplanned for events in several sports all in 1 day. I'm glad I dodged so many bullets today. *tebow pose* Still lost a little bit but it coulda been worse.

Sorry to anyone that lost big =/.

This is why you do not chase. We are betting on sports here.

Roddick is and always will be a loser and a scumbag, look at how many times he has retired throughout his career. He also got hurt in the 2nd set but continued and retired in the 3rd set screwing anyone who bet on him and would of gotten a push if he retired when he got hurt in the 2nd set. He won 1 US open 9 years ago, he will likely never win another Grand Slam event.
