I'm going to try something similar for this us open, but will not choose one person who's bowed out first round before - that means no Stosur. Can't trust her. Tipsy is always a little unpredictable but should be fine, as should most others in your 8 team parlay.

that first parlay for which you were seeking input would probably lose by the stosur pick if any. hopefully in the next few days, we will see some -400ish plays to parlay together.

I'm not here to bury the OP, but making these parlays is one of the top mistakes I think people make in betting Grand Slams. Everyone always thinks it's "easy money" to parlay a lot of the top seeds at big prices. I think if you're going to employ this sort of strategy, definitely be weary of the WTA big favorites. The men are far more trusting, but this is still a tough way to try and make money. Parlays are winnable, but you really need to keep the number of selections in a parlay to about six IMO to have a realistic shot to win ... and then in most cases, the risk vs. reward is not worth it. Personally, I think 2-3 in a parlay is the best option.

    Anywho, my two cents.

Sorry bro, looks the experiment for this slam is over. I was about to load up on a 10 teamer that included Kvitova but I looked at the odds I was getting and just couldn't pull the trigger. Strangely enough in the WTA it feels like you are better taking -200 to -300 favourites then -1000+ favourites, while for men it's almost the opposite.

I think round 2 and round 3 are the really fun times to start doing these big parlays, at least then you've had one round to see who's come to play and who hasn't (e.g. Troicki).

Yeah fuuck the WTA. I blindly faded Kudryavtseva just cuz she's so bad, but then cuunt Rodionova keeps fuucking up and lost the tiebreaker 7-1.. if the aussie twat doesn't rally up soon, she going to cost me half of my profit today.

Have you thought of running several 25 leg open parlays over the tourney Jsmith?

    Average -314 for 1000/1
    -500 for 100/1
    -750 for 25/1
    -1000 for 10/1

I am starting to completely agree.
I am guilty of this, so my strat is about to change. I might do some large parlays for minimal risk, but it's going to be more like this from now on:

    DJOKOVIC / NADAL / TSONGA / SERENA 500 / 75.

This is how it is. I've seen too many people buried on massive parlays relying on favourites. And like you guys said, it's (almost) always the women's side. Now you've got Wawrinka struggling against Maximo. Best of luck, but these big ventures are always too scary and unpredictable for me.

Do you really want Roddick and Stosur in there?

What about a prop on the DelPotro, Sharapova or Zvonareva matches... wins 3-0/2-0. Losing Stosur and/or Roddick and adding one of those props should bump your odds up better than they are now, and imho, probably safer.

I like Soderling to win easily at big chalk too.

Yeah agree they both should win. Those two just make me nervous every time.

I use 5Dimes too. Click the props link under Tennis.

I'm trying to snag a 16 legger on the big four's matches up to the quarters.
