Lol Denis Istomin is a favorite.
Istomin a favorite against Mathias Bachinger. I'm laughing at this. It's always these 'low profile' matches that are easy to handicap. One thing I've learned in Tennis is that when you see a line that looks fuckin good against a shitty player (in this case its Istomin), ya gotta jump on it. That isn't the case in other Professional Sports like MLB, NBA, or NFL...

I took that dumb bitch Gadjosova today over Cirstea....she ends up winning the 1st set and losing the 2nd and 3rd sets... that pisses me off especially since she's the higher ranked player, the better player on hard courts, the more experienced player AND the fact she already had the first set won... She even blew leads that were 40-0 at least two times
-115 isn't exactly a huge favorite or anything. Istomin is in great form right now from winning a couple of obscure tournaments. Really the question here is fatigue. Two straight weeks of making finals and now working a big time change to play here just two days after a final ... that's what would probably make Bachinger a decent shot. odds are pretty much what this match looks like, a pick 'em.
Bachingers record on hard surfaces is so much better then Istomins. Secondly, after reviewing Istoms record the past 2 weeks and against all the competitors he beat, they are all low quality opponents. Istomin has pretty much faced nobody to the likes of Bachinger in the past 2 weeks. Not to say Bachinger is such an amazing player, but compared to Istomin he's a helluva lot better. Bachinger can win this in straight sets if he actually performs to his standards and lives up to expectations

Only problem I have with Bachinger is the guy's hard court record is ALL on the Challenger level. He does not have a single main draw ATP level win on outdoor hard courts. Good a time as any for him to win. Like I said fatigue is a very possible disadvantage for Istomin, but I think the price is about right in this one. Good luck!
Bachinger beat andujar with is impressive though. Istomin was beating a bunch of scrubs. Agreed man. This could go either way. Factor in fatigue and that could be the x factor.
Istomin is a far better player than Bachinger, he's just way off form this year. Two home challenger results may change that, may not. Then there's a monster flight.

Istomin was in the finals here last year. And his level of opponents isn't that good in the last weeks, but he won both tournaments. Its a no play for me.

Istomin just rallied from down 5-2 to bring the game to 5-4 and possibly extend the game on serve to tie it at 5-5... This aggravates me. Istomin is not a good enough player to rally from a deficit like that. I think Bachinger is just toying with him.
