I would have to lean Sharapova, simply since she's probably the bigger hitter AND she's actually seemed less error prone lately. Kvitova gave the second sets away to both Azarenka and Pironkova and does seem like nerves get to her a little at this stage.

I want to see what EP thinks, but I feel like the under will be a good play, as opposed to the over with Djokovic/Tsonga. Two dominant players that are also very error prone. One of them is probably gonna win the final extremely easily, as they play high level and the opponent plays poor.

i just think she can outhit sharapova. i think azarenka is pretty much the same as sharapova and kvitova handled azarenka just fine. and if you look at the winner to unforced error ratio of both semifinal matches, kvitova has a much better ratio

It's certainly possible. Kvitova does seem to hit the ball really hard. But I think Sharapova hits it even harder. I don't agree that Azarenka and Sharapova are similar. Azarenka is a more defensive player. Sharapova dictates the points like Kvitova does. I just think she'll be better at it.

I am leaning towards taking Kvitova. I have been waiting for Sharapova to lose a match because of her serve and today she looked awful on more than a handful of her service games, but Lisicki couldnt take advantage of the times she broke because her first serve was off which wasnt the case up until today and her second serve, Maria just abused all match long.

I still think Sharapova's serve will do her in and lets be honest she hasnt really played anybody in this tournament. Kvitova is more than capable of beating her.

For the game itself, the only value lies in Kvitova. Split bet her on the money line and the spread. If you don't know heavy favorites are sucker bets by now you shouldn't be gambling.

Got Kvitova at 11/2 after round 1, and the only thing that will stop her from winning on Saturday is if she chokes. She's done that in the past. Saw her match with Wickmayer in person and she looked unplayable. Sharapova needs a high first serve percentage because Petra has hit a lot of return winners in this tournament. C'mon Kvitova!

I am on maria -160 because she is hotter. Well actually I love this price for someone who is yet to lose a set and is 3-0 in slam finals. I feel kvitova will be feeling nervous on the big stage(final) and thats not to mention kvitova has dropped a set to pironkova and a 6-3 set to azarenka.
