I don't get the odds on Marchenko because he definitely isn't worse player than Volandri and however Italian players is feeling better on this surface than Illya, he's rather inconsistent of late, while his win over Lajovic doesn't say anything. Marchenko was solid versus Gulbis and though Latvian wasn't focused on the tournament much, it's still more efficient win. At most it's 50-50 game, so value on underdog.

In the second game I wouldn't underestimate Anderson, even though it's claycourt because this guy can still outserve opponents. He's rock solid and should be holding his service games easily. Hanescu is quite inconsistent during the season, so I don't believe in some kind of a blowout in his favour. Kevin won't do it either, having no weapons to have more than a few breakpoint opportunities during whole game. 22.5 games ain't low line considering surface but this should be three-setter.
