Who else thinks betting on tennis totals is like playing Russian roulette?

I'm never a fan of betting on number of total games. Sure, there are times that the 2 players seem to be a very close match up, but does that mean the games will go over for sure? Maybe yes maybe not. There are other times one player seems so dominating, but does that mean the games will go under for sure? I don't know.

In my opinion, betting on totals, most of the time is pure gambling like playing Russian roulette. In long term, you lose money.

    How do you guys think?

agreed. In a way spreads are somewhat based on luck as well. Take the +4.5/-4.5 handicap for example, considering one break per set the winner on the spread will depend on who wins the coin toss most likely.

That is a good point, but I also think totals in tennis are very random.

Yeah I'm a loser on totals, but I'm ahead on handicaps and h2h.

But I'd say unders would be a worse option to bet than overs.

I also think betting Totals makes sense for some sports like basketball, soccer, etc,.

But not for tennis. The rule is different.

It's bizarre how a match can change from set to set, almost game to game. I love listening to commentators having to change their whole commentary about a match and whos dominating literally in the middle of one game. Totals are a tough play in tennis, so is betting the spread.
