We know Parlaymakers was managed by Max, there's no last name and as a heads up, everybody uses fake names in this industry.

Max agreed to place the SBR Complaint Form on the Parlaymakers site, but he became unreliable and hard to reach in time. SBR spoke to him on the same phone numbers you all did, there's no hidden goods in this case... if we can identify Max or where the money went, we'll make every effort to speak with him and get him in touch with players.

How about a follow up with the Panamanian authorities to find out about GP? Surely you can find out if they are under investigation, have legal problems with the US gov, or just plain stole funds and left town.

Trust me Panama has no time for some lil Gambling theft. They got 16 - 18 years olds killing themselves over coke and other crimes. Max will waltz on cash for the rest of his life and THIS is fact.

FYI, when Parlaymakers made Moneybookers payouts, they were sent from the following company:

    White Cargo Industries Inc.
    8 Copthall
    Roseau Valley, Dominica
    00152

    http://online.casinocity.com/sportsbooks/parlay-makers/

I have a feeling that the address in Dominica (8 Copthall) is either a law firm, a mail drop, or one of those companies that offer "offshore incorporations", because there are several companies that list "8 Copthall" as their business address.

Not much information, but it might be better than nothing at all.

Lou mentioned a phone number people used who talked to Max...does anybody have it? Might be something to follow up on there.

I doubt that, PM had very few players. Look at when they used to post bets, it was like ten a day or less.

no way Maxxie got away with big money here, he probably lost the 10k ( or whatever) he started with.

Remember that crap about him wanting investors, that screamed RUN, FORREST, RUN !

I agree. I'm sure he took a loss over all, possibly even a big one given how foolish he was in understanding the holes in his website and what he was up against. That said, the way he never admitted failure and skulked away rather than apologizing for getting over-extended and going to work to make good on his obligations is extremely disappointing. I'll admit I thought there was a little more to him than that.

Maybe PM was OK and holding their own but got dragged down in GP investigation. Obviously the two were connected and when GP went down (supposedly because of the US gov) they shut down both operations. We can only hope now that the US gov angle is true and the US gov has frozen funds which it is possible (although remorely) that when legal matters are settled funds will be returned.

I've been some research on Parlaymakers.

8 Copthrall in Roseau Valley is owned by "DOS Group Inc."

Apparently Parlaymakers was actually regulated by Dominica... not Panama?

Some more info that Ive found

    - The actual offices for the company were in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

    - Marketing Manager for GP was James Sinclair.... Now, i don't wanna start a big uproar with this guy, but there is a James Sinclair who runs the website http://jsmineset.com/ about gold.

It's extremely unlikely that this guy has anything at all to do with Parlaymakers and GP. This guy is an investment guy (stocks/gold), not an internet guy, and has been around forever.

I am slowly working on the rollover. I'd say I've only done about 3X worth out of the 10, and am up slightly which is just the way I'd like to keep it. I'd rather not take the risk of building up a huge balance and possibly not getting anything at all.

I will give a full report if/when I do get a payout from this, although at the pace I'm going it might not be until the summer.

I'm not arguing that a "James Sinclair" isn't involved ... I just don't think it's the same James Sinclair.

There are plenty of Jim Sinclairs out there ... I know two Jim Sinclairs in my home town alone.

I think you guys are going to be OK. Confidence is there. I don't think DLS is a BigJuicyOdds. They have had their disputes but are not a fly-by. They are close to 10 years now.

THat would be great.... if Dimeline actually agreed to give money.

I emailed them... and sicne i have no proof that I had the money on GP... they won't credit me.

Had no idea Sinclair is a common name... I dont know anyone with that name.

    But your right:

The other thing you have to realize is that some (maybe most) of the guys involved with offshore gambling use fake made-up names when dealing with the public ... not saying that's the case with this "James Sinclair", but it very well could be.

That's a great analogy. I took the offer and I should be appreciative. But I hate logging on to the site because their behavior makes it feel like even if I get through the 10X roll-over the money somehow won't be there and in addition to having been taken by Max I'll have done all that clicking for nothing. And it's a lot of clicking...they cut my NBA 2H limits to $50!

my thinking is - out of the frying pan into the fire. but if bill thinks you are going to be ok , then you may actually get paid after the rollover. sbr will be watching, so they may pay.

Dimeline refusing to credit my account.

I definitely didn't get bailed out from my parlaymakers account.
