    Avoid TitanBet bonuses

    Hi all,

I'm a webmaster of a Croatian betting site, had it for 5 years now and I have played in practically all bookies, even PointBet.

No bookie ever got me mad as Titanbet did today.

I took the "25 eur free casino bonus" and since it has to be rolled over 30 times before withdrawal, I went to play slots. Apparently, terms&conditions say "9. Real money is used before bonus money".

So I ended up losing 200 euros.

Ok, I know I should have read the T&C. But the problem is this: for the whole time, I didn't know what my balance was. Even now, when I'm done with the casino, my sportsbook balance is 25 eur (the casino bonus) although it should be zero.

Whenever I refreshed the page, the balance would be different.

When I first entered the casino and opened the slot game, I was amazed that my balance was 17.67 (I had 242 euros, plus 25 euros casino bonus), I spinned the wheel and won, my balance was 300.

Naturally, I thought that's the winning so I spinned some more. But, as it turns out, that wasn't the winning, maybe the winning was several euros, but this time when the balance reloaded it included my real money.

This tricked me into believing that I had 300 euros of winnings. But, I had maybe only a couple of euros of winnings.

The money is now gone, I'll live with it. But can you guys tell me, do I have some ground for pressing charges of anything like that? I never knew what my balance was, and it made me make a mistake.

Donīt know the answer to your question but would like to add another interesting "feature" concerning Titanbet and bonus.

Sportsbook bonus has to be rolled over before you get it. Havenīt heard of anyone else doing it that way.

5Dimes do that. It's a way to encourage loyalty (giving a bonus) whilst discouraging people just interested in getting a new account and engaging in hit-and-run bonus wh0ring.

Rollover then bonus is a great idea imo - solves the problems a lot of books have with players simply repeatedly betting their whole balance while matching the other side at the exchange.

The problem is that in order to get the 25 EUR casino bonus, you first have to wager 750 EUR in the casino.

But that's not illegal, you can decide to comply with the T&C or not. A matter of choice.

The problem in my case is that Titanbet didn't show the correct balance on the screen, which fooled me. Do I have a case there? I e-mailed support, asking them to declare all my casino wagers void because the correct balance wasn't shown when I entered the casino. I'm not expecting much, but I got to try.

Anyway, they don't look serious / professional / experienced enough. They're a new book. These mistakes with the balance shown are just a part of the story.

Two weeks ago I went to bet live on a Croatian league match between Cibalia and Zadar. Cibalia was a heavy favorite, and the score was 0:0 at 62nd minute on a snowy pitch.

Titanbet offered odds on over/under 4 goals (!) and the odds on the draw were 5.39. The odds should have been around 1.80, considering the score and the minute. Of course I took the bet (and won, the final score was 0:0). The over/under 4 goals was quickly removed, it was offered for maybe 2-3 minutes. I have a screenshot of the draw bet on 5.39, if anyone's interested.

Basically, they don't know what they're doing.

And let's not forget that Titanbet is one of the rare bookies which carry over the negative monthly balance with affiliate partners. Also nothing illegal, but very unpleasant once you realize it for the first time. The only other bookies working this way with affiliate partners are Bet365 and Pinnacle, as far as I know. In Unibet (and most others), if your affiliate balance for February is -300 and you earn +100 in March, they pay you 100. In Titanbet you're at -200.

They may think they're very clever at Titanbet, but guess which banner I'll choose to put on the main page of my website, the one giving me more money or the one giving me less money.

Titanbet, instead of offering a fair game, as most other bookies do, escapes to their T&C to gain an edge over players and over affiliate partners. I don't like that. And I think the community won't like it either, once it starts defining Titanbet as a brand. We all hate when the fine print screws us, and it will backfire on Titanbet sooner or later.

i dont advise betting on bookie mistakes. they can freeroll you by voiding your bet if you win. no screenshot will help you if the bet is pulp.

They say they offer 100% bonus but the deposit has to be turned over 7 times before the bonus is credited to your account.

Assume you deposit 100 and lose it. The another, and then another... Losing seven straight deposits would mean you have lost 700 to get your 100 bonus. How is it fair to call that a 100% bonus?

Apart from that the problem is that this is a far worse deal than to deposit and get the bonus credited and ready for use immediately. And since the few bonuses Iīve taken has always been the latter one I just wanted to make the difference known.
