Matchbook always had poor ownership and this is another move that seems very poor

I would be very concerned playing art Matchbook in the future as it just seems like a few compulsive gamblers running it with some cash

You could not be further off base..................

By the way, the ASIAN market is without question the market to tap into in the next few years, and you can bet your bottom dollar MB will draw many, many customers from that region.

Asian customers mainly bet Soccer and will not venture outside the traditional box

Matchbook does not have the money to advertise therefore another reason it cannot grow

Money wins and big advertising $$ means much more volume and profit at books

Fishhead if they do lots has to go into massive add campaigns and they will not do it

Pinnacle and Betfair have banners all over the world where affilate packages or add packages

Matchbook is one of few books that rarelt advertised and it showed terrible int their volume

    ......MB has new ownership.

.........and again, MB is not setting their shortterm goals on Betfair, this Betfair comparison needs to stop, geezus.

MB will carve their own market, just like they always have, the difference will be that now they will be doing such with considerable better financial backing and smarts.

I hope the new owners have much more vision than this. I can see room for genuine competition with Betfair, and hope they make it happen. If they're UK-based, hopefully they're already tapped in to Betfair's deficiencies, and we will see a smart offering from them soon. I'm sorry for US bettors, but this buy-out *could* be good news for the rest of us.

One can get the NUGGETS +2 +101(-101 after commissions) for $34,000 right now at MATCHBOOK................now if you want to play at REBATEWAGER and take the NUGGETS +2 -110 for a whopping $500, more power to you.

The new guys at Matchbook are likely very well financed.

That said, they are acting like assholes and i hope they fail. It would not kill them to send checks or multiple wires at the players request.

Regarding the old Matchbook people - are they prevented from opening a new exchange?

Olympic, 5 dimes, Legends, Cris - which one of you is gonna step up and take all of Matchbook's US business? This should be a NO BRAINER. If you don't, someone else will.

Thanks for the interview. Not much fresh info, but still nice to get a confirmation by the new Matchbook owners.

MLB regular season will be the critical moment, I hope they get enough liquidity by then.

The owners are wagering money by putting offers up

The place is dead and will continue to be dead

Its over, too late in game to start an exchange in Europe

The market is over saturated as it is and almost all losing money

    So what if they are?????

One can get down thousands on an NBA game at considerable better odds at MB........compared to say a Rebatewager that allows only 500 bucks, and as mentioned, at a much higher cost because of laying -110 instead of something much lower.

Yet you rip MB and praise RW like its a top three book in the world.

I would never play at Matchbook
Way to hard to fund and withdraw with lots of delays

Why every usa players has not been paid yet is behond belief

Not allowing book to book transfers is an excuse

Matchbook was not under any strict licensing like betfair and still IS NOT

Owner making excuses holding your MONEY

The guy claims he is loaded which scares me

    this sounds promising

    matchbook with liquidity would rock!!!

    look at todays prices:

chicago best price +190 5 dimes, +200 at matchbook

Lakers best price + +123 5 dimes, +129 at matchbook

still a long way to go though!!!

lets face facts, the american people have been screwed again.

cant even get the best prices on there own sports.

    not really fair is it.

Wasn't sure it was going to happen, but Betmaker is improving everyday.

Let's monitor that situation closely and see how it evolves as the MLB season approaches.
