Since my first post on the subject of sportsbooks was a negative one I would like to follow it up by giving props to Bodog sportsbook for never ever missing a payment. I cashed over 150k with them and they always paid on time every week. Eventually of course my wagers were no longer accepted on horses since my account profited so much but still Bodog is a name you can trust. I would not hesitate to deposit there again to wager on sports.

They have asked what it would take and we have strongly suggested that A+ books put up early lines. Until they hang lines with the rest of the A+ books I dont think they should be grouped in the A+ group. The day they open lines with the other A+ books would be the time this post would make sense.

Great prop betting selection, and the live betting for soccer is close to betfair selection quality (just ridiculously juiced). But as mentioned, the rarely competitively-priced lines are posted very late, and sometimes we never get the ML.

This comment surprises me as bodog CS works very hard to provide top service to all customers. Can you please give me a specific example of a bad experience you've had with CS so I can pass on the feedback to a senior CS manager?

Some do not like bodog because of its conservative bookmaking reputation and the lines going up late is one example. I know that all the bodog branded sites are looking at ways to get the lines up earlier and with some software changes this will be done by next year.

Also, just to reinforce, recreational players are the main audience for bodog properties. Recreational players are also not big forum posters so you won't hear a lot from them here. Professional sports betters also love the inevitable weak numbers that the recreational players cause on some games.

They don't let you parlay halfs of the same game. They don't offer quarter lines for NBA. The limits are also pretty low. Other than that I have no complaints because they do pay and thats the most important thing and I have recommended them to a few people.

I like to say i'm a recreational player and I honestly think the late lines are by far and away the biggest pain in the ass for me when it comes to wagering on Bodog, so if you need the opinion of a RECREATIONAL player, well there. Also there are other good books out there that call themselves recreational books, yet carry more options than Bodog does, despite that fact. Again i;m not gonna go out of my way to bash Bodog because I don't dislike the book, but you guys are behind the times on a few areas that matter the most.

I am cashing out thousands regularly...in casino winnings from bodog. And yes, people do really win big, which goes against the major consipiracy theory I see on here that "all online casinos are rigged." Yes, my limits have been cut, but they are paying me out regularly. And yes, bodog beat publicizes all big wins each week and they are legit. I had numerous press releases on my wins on the beat. So don't be so sure of yourself when you think people lie about big wins, buddy.

A+ means:
safety of funds
competitive odds
taking decent sized bets

they may pass the first test but fail utterly dismally on the other two

not worth playing there once they cut your limits and put you on their "square lines"

Bodog Customer Service is very good. They also some of the best deposit options available. The only beef is the slow lines posting. Its absolutely pathetic that the lines for noon games are trickling up around 11 am sometimes. If they put the lines up quicker they would be in my top 3.

I understand that some of you don't like the conservative risk management that the bodog licensees use, but most sharp bettors have an account with bodog to pick off the nice numbers that show up from time to time due to the predominantly retail base.

Bottom line, every bodog licensee's #1 obligation to players is to run a viable business so payouts are never in jeopardy and bodog has not missed a payout in the 16 years its been in business.
