    Tobet "hacked" my account!!!

    Hello,all,I follow this forum from time to time and I find it very useful.
    I am a serious punter,my stakes are almost high,I used to bet online from over 6 years,I had many accounts in many bookies (over 30),I had a few problems with some of them(like you all),all solved it in the end.
    I am writing here now because after all this years I had a problem new for me-someone hacked one of my internet accounts,played poker with my money and '"lost" it.
    Someone logged into my Tobet account transferred my money to poker and and "lost" it.You can say that this things is often,I am a full,I had a key logger to my computer...but I am telling you that this situation is very strange because:
    -I had the same username and password for all my internet accounts(blame me for that,but I have many accounts),but only my Tobet account was hacked;
    -I didn't wrote my password anywhere,no one knows my password;
    -My computer is safe,I use anti keyloggers,firewall,antispyware,antiviru s,my system is updated,I am the only one that I have access to my computer;
    -I don't know to play poker and I never played on any of my accounts;
    -A few hours before my Tobet account was hacked withdraw some money from there but not all of my money and in that time I was also logged in to other 5 bookmakers(with the same username and password and I had money in all of them),but only my Tobet account was hacked;
    -I discovered that the money from Tobet disappeared after 5 days when I logged in my account and in this period of time the hacker could take all my money from all my accounts with the same username and password,but he logged only to my Tobet account;
    -I sent emails to all bookmakers to ask them if someone tried to enter into my accounts or if someone logged and they all said that my accounts are safe and that is nothing suspicious;
    -When I discovered the theft I contacted Tobet,they closed my account,they asked for documents but didn't said anything about the theft for 4-5 days.I sent them all the documents they wanted,they asked me fro my security question and wanted me to send them from my emails.I told them that is not safe and they must call me to tell them my security question but they didn't wanted,so I gave it on email.After I contacted Justin and the support from NordicBet,Tobet told me that someone from Poland logged into my account and play poker with my money.He logged 4-5 times to my accounts from different IP from Poland.Tobet told me that my money are lost and they couldn't help me.
    -I am not from Poland,but someone from there played with my money.This is very strange,why an ip from Poland???As you can see Tobet has two versions in two languages-English and Polish.I am sure that someone from their staff,from Poland entered in my account or they had a vulnerability in their system.The hacker played poker with my money and lost and I want from Tobet to send me the history of that poker games.I have that right,I have the right to know what happened with my money.

    Why can you tell me about this strange situation?What do you think?I am very confused now,but I am very sure that Tobet are hiding me something.

    Never even heard of this outfit and it sounds like they screwed u somehow. And if u got hacked from your end then u would of had more issues, but sounds to me like it was them or someone in there book. Your money is gone and i dont even see them rated by SBR, why play in places like this?

    Tobet is a sister book of NordicBet and both are known to be solid.
    SBR ratings for non-US facing books are becoming increasingly irrelevant (they don't even rate SBOBet ffs).

    Instances/reports of accounts being hacked and funds used/lost for poker/casino are becoming increasingly common.

    Nordicbet is a healthy and in a good financial position,but i don t exclude that someone from inside hacked your account.

    That's why I think someone logged into my account a few hours after I withdraw money from Tobet and in that moment I also withdraw from another 5 bookies(with same username and password).Someone from Tobet played with my money.

    Let me tell you a story: a few years ago I want to register to Canbet but they had some problems with the site,I spoke with them on live chat and that person offered to help me registering.I told him my name,address...and the password that I want for that account.He registered me,played there many years without a single problem.A few months after I registered with Canbet I contacted again the live chat and they asked me for my password to verify me.I didn't want to tell them my password but they insisted and they told me that they already know my password.Strange,no???

    Cornny, it's considered a normal practice to ask a password in some bookies even on the live chat. Yes, that definitely sounds insecure but that's the way it is.

    Regarding Tobet, I have an account there for some time now, never had any problems. Just like with NordicBet or Triobet, I consider Tobet safe and don't think that it could be "inside job".

    definitely try to get a log of "your" poker action to see if all your funds were supposedly lost to the same person..It probably wouldn't dispel your "inside job" theory but might help you to figure things out a bit..good luck

    The problem is you can't proof you didn't give your details to a guy in Poland. I'm not saying you did but if bookies would credit your account back you can see how much fraud could be done if they would.

    I can't see the history of poker in Tobet or I don't know how.I asked the security department to provide me this history but they didn't want and they told only that:

    "The money was lost to various players in poker and we have not found indications of chip dumping."

    I think someone from Tobet played poker for fun or they are not telling me the truth.

    I want to point that some of the bookies or all know our passwords.
    I used Tobet for 1 year and I didn't had problems,but it's a beginning for everything,zebras99.
    I know it's hard to believe that was an "inside job' but this is the only logical answer.

    Yes,this could be a problem,but a real investigation from LGA Malta or the Police would find the truth.

    Look the only thing you can do is file a complaint with SBR and tell them your story and let them look into it as they can get this type of information out of them because they are on SBR's list. Your waisting your time posting here, let them do the investigating.

    uh no. your password is stored in their database: if they want to know your password, they just have to look.

    Sure the bookies can steal but most probably don't. If a book were to steal a few times word would get out and they would not have enough customers to survive. There is much more money to be made baiting you into their casino or onto their table games.

    anyway if someone hacks your account and blows the money in their favor, the bookie is more than happy to have it!
    It happened to someone i know at Betfair and they said it is not their falt so goodbye money, the idiot who hacked spend it all on arcade games !?! So if Betfair does that, do not get high expectations from small bookies like Tobet.

    This has happened at other books. It is easy for someone to hack into your account and to "lose" money playing poker. The thing to do is to find out WHY it happened. Normally, when inside jobs like this happen, the book is having some financial difficulties. The odd part about all of this is that I have never heard a stroy where someone stole funds out of an account, wagered them, and won. If this were an "outside" job, how would they get their winnings sent to them? If they just wanted to steal your money, they would do it, and bypass this step. This is why incidents like this are always "inside" jobs.

    I use Tobet for a few years now and I never had any problems.

    When you use the same username and password for every bookie you can't be sure where the indiscretion was. Perhaps you used this combination for betting competions or forum as well as for bookies.

    I am not stupid,Stefan,I used that combination only for bookies.Even if I used that combination on forums,etc. please told me why was hacked only my Tobet account?If you find my password I believe you would try to hack all my accounts and not only my Tobet account.
