beted is offering a whopping 45% RELOAD in the time when book action slows down, that's a sign for me to stay away.
and bodog is a solid book and cannot be compared with the junk books mentioned above. also their asian branch bodog88 pays real fast.

how can any book fail that is charging -110 juice...for every 500k they get action on, they are making 45k in juice. and thats before you take into account that the public as a whole cant even pick games at 50 percent

plenty of money making business have gone broke. including sportsbooks. same applies to goverments. poor money management. same applies to gamblers. if you can't manage your money you will end up broke. if you win a lot it will just take a little longer.

Can't imagine Bodog going down. Sure, they limit and deal double lines, but I see them as quite financially stable.

yeah, it just makes no sense to me how a book can fail, with no overhead/inventory besides a website costs/a few employees and a small office space..the funds these top books bring in, and the juice they charge.

None. Just like last year at this time. The ones mentioned in the OP would have been the same ones mentioned last year. But they're still here. WSEX will continue to be in slow pay mode, but that's been going on for 2 years now, and just seems to be their new SOP. Sucks, but it's better than a place like Cascade, which stopped paying years ago but still operates.

I wasn't really serious about Bodog failing, I just don't use them ( anymore). I'm very cynical about books. I'm of the opinion that you might as well quit instead of dealing with -110 lines, and there are few ( American) options to get low vig, esp. -105

You kind of have to choose between....

5Dimes.....pretty Ok for smaller bettors, easy to deposit too and they transfer, but cashing out isn't as easy and free as before.

Matchbook.....tough to deposit too except for transfers and payouts seem to take longer.

Betjam is useable for baseball season with low vig and great reputation for payment.

few other options exist, IMO !

You said they can't handle payouts. Really? Besides the publicized cases here where there were other factors involved, when have they slow paid? Not with me.

Anything could happen at anytime with any book, but I'm just asking, how can't they handle payouts like you said?

I concur, sameday out of about 30-40 sameday payouts over 4 years only one was messed up, which I got the next day. Bankwires have gone smooth as did the few checks I got.
