best of the best of the best. if every book was like pinny, offshore would be a dream. too bad it's not...last sunday i had a great day and my acct got high, it was 3 am. where else can you withdraw at 3 am? well, i go to cashier, request large amount, and within 2 min, it was in my Moneybookers acct. unreal.

if i ever had 250k at pinny, i'd still sleep like a baby. it's safer than having my money in the royal bank of canada.

These guys are great.

and i didn't even talk about their great lines..

Only one free wd p/m and a very unreliable site (down/syrup several times today) makes them 'fair', but I have a feeling they will work out the kinks with their site soon so going for very good.

Long been deservedly recognised as overall the best book there is.

There are a couple of others which have the edge over them in a few specific areas.

Their interface could do with a few improvements though.

I rate the site on place 4. after group of bookers using IBCbet odds, SBObet and 188bet. Then comes Pinny. This is for soccer betting, which I mainly do (high stakes).

yes, soccer is one of the areas where they don't rate #1

I want to add that in NBA betting, Pinnacle is clear number #1.

But in soccer, they have a lot to do. In soccer they actually have higher juice than those asians in most leagues and generally lower limits in all leagues than those asian books.

all i know is for we north americans, we love pinny. who cares about those european soccer books. all i know is for NBA, MLB, NFL and NHL, they are king. and their payouts are unreal.. withdrawing money from any book in america is a nightmare, even matchy takes sometimes 2 days to process it.. but pinny, under 2 min at times and for any amount. you guys can have your other better books. just leave me pinny and i will die a happy man.

thanks for telling me this.. i needed to hear this from someone. they've been always telling me that i am the only one that complained so far.. and that it's on my end.

it never goes down for a long time for me. what happens is that every 1.5 hrs on avg from 6 pm till 1030 pm, it will be dead for 5 min, then come back again. if this is what others are going through, then i feel better that it's not just me and i will email them and give them hell for lying to me.

oh my god, you're a genius if this true. i do refresh all the time. is this true that this is why it is going down a lot? or everyone goes down too.. durito, don't play games with me. why does it go down alot?? is it really because i refresh alot, cause i refresh like 1,400 times a night, no joke.

if this is true, i'll leave it on Dynamic Lines at all times so it don't go down again.

It is no surprising if they use some kind of algorithm to block high refreshers for a few minutes in order to keep site from running too hot. But they won't admit it if they do.

Takes a bit of getting used to the site, but once familiar it is excellent. Odds are good and the one w/d per month is not really an issue if you are using it as your main book.

If the site was more stable and they offered higher limits on NHL games Pinny would be nearly perfect, but as it stands it's one of, if not the best book out there.

it surprises me that SBR would ask us what we think of pinny? they know already that it's the best book out there. why do you think their book is always the first one on the top of the page for?? not because they like their color of their logo. there's a reason why it's 1st.. cause they know it's a great book.. if they weren't, they would not be A+ rated.. easily the safest book offshore, fastest payouts, best lines, them and matchy.. high limits.. just a great book.

asking us what we think of pinny is like coming in here and asking us what we think of chocolate.. everyone loves chocolate. sbr knows they're great.

On January 11, 2007, in what was considered a controversial move, Pinnacle Sports voluntarily announced that it would no longer accept wagers from customers based in the United States in accordance with the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which was passed on September 30, 2006. The law, which was a last minute addition to Security and Accountability For Every Port Act, stipulates that “participants in designated payment systems to establish policies and procedures reasonably designed to identify and block or otherwise prevent or prohibit transactions in connection with unlawful Internet gambling.”[8]

At the time, Pinnacle Sports posted the following message to their U.S. based customers:
“After careful consideration, Pinnacle Sports has chosen to voluntarily exit the U.S. market. Accordingly, wagers will no longer be accepted from clients within the U.S. as of Thursday, January 11, 2007.”

At the time of the announcement, nearly 60-65% of Pinnacle’s customers were based in the United States.[9] Passage of the legislation led Pinnacle to have problems with transactions involving US banks.[10] Shortly after the decision, an executive at Pinnacle Sports was quoted as saying: "When the U.S. focuses on something and says 'Enough,' and when they go to war, no individual company can possibly win in a fight of this nature." The executive also reportedly said that "since the Internet Gambling Bill went into effect, we have lost the ability to do business with many quality banks."'[11]


After the decision, Pinnacle teamed up with World Sports Exchange (WSEX) to offer their US based customers an alternative to their website. At customer’s requests, Pinnacle willingly transferred all money left in US based accounts to new accounts at WSEX.[12]

When they have network issues it is more likely due to a DOS attack than Nicky refreshing the page too often.

But it is certainly better for their overall traffic if all users refresh less frequently, or use the dynamic line page which optimizes (minimizes) the data transferred between your computer and the Pinnacle server.

5 minutes? Are you aware that Pinny has been doing short (approximately 5 minutes) IP bans when you refresh the screen too much?

thanks for that info boys. i swear i had no idea they were banning us for refreshing so much. this explains everything. how much is too much refreshing. yes, my 500 refreshes per hr is extreme, but will they ban me if i refresh only 200 times?? what is the cutoff point.. this is so weird. that explains everything.

hey sbr, is it too late to take back all the good things i said about pinny. all of a sudden, i don't like them as much anymore. this is crazy this banning for too much refreshing..

Pinnacle is the best.

Only small complaints I have are the 5 minutes IP bans, which are annoying. And the "danger zone" in soccer live betting.

It may be the bans that nicky is experiencing but they are also having serious stability problems in general lately. I don't refresh more than maybe once per 10 minutes and it crashes. When I talk to other people about it they also repot that it has crashed.

You will find that the site will either completely stop responding or it will go veeeery slow and you will eventually get the page up in a distorted format (usually all white and with some links showing, impossible to use)... and then after a few minutes it comes up again.

The IP banning is a seperate issue. They did tell SBR that they have relaxed that policy though as it used to be very, very strict. It is in one of the many threads on this particular issue.

E-mail them and request that they add an alternative layout. Would have loved if they had a layout like sbobet so you would not have to move around so much if you want to go betwee leagues.

i don't know what to think anymore. this is exactly what happens to me.. yet you don't refresh that much and i refresh on avg once every 9 seconds for 4 straight hrs.. so is this site going down for me because i'm refreshing too much, or what?? i am so confused. pinny won't give me a straight answer. .their answer is always.. it's only me and it's on my end.. and that i should clear my cache or cookies, or whatever they mean...

I am constantly on Pinny and refreshing all night and very rarely have I had problems like you guys are talking about...maybe once every couple days.

If you refresh the page more than what the dynamic lines refreshes the page you will get the 5 minute time out. Just leave it on dynamic lines and you will be ok.
