    Bookmaker

Bookmaker told me this week that due to changes in Washington state on-line wagering laws that I may no longer use their site.

Has this impacted anyone else and who do you now use?

    Thank you.

Move out of Washington state. I don't think any online books will take any action from you there now

    Don't have any link.

My logon credentials where not being accepted at Bookmaker so I contacted Bookmaker live support and they told me they no longer accept bets from Washington residents.

Use an IP out of state, get a virtual address and there you go.

I've also heard discussion that Washington is the 1st state doing this, and soon the rest of the states would follow banning all bets from the United States (besides Nevada). This is just a discussion I heard, dominoes affect.

You guys are relentless....I live in Cali, therefore I do not need a IP out of state. Because my knowledge shows you can do this, does not mean I am doing this. You know how to shit in your pants? Do you do it??

Money launderer praised for his collaboration with US prosecutors investigating online poker

While federal prosecutors in the state of Washington have reportedly seized another $8 million from payment processors operating on behalf of online poker sites PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker, two new guilty pleas have been confirmed in the ongoing case in Maryland.
The Baltimore City Paper reported how the last two men to plead guilty to illegal gambling charges were using US bank accounts to manage payments on behalf of Full Tilt Poker in several US states.

But as other before, they have now agreed to cooperate with US prosecutors.

Michael Garone, charged in 2008 for money laundering and whose case later disappeared from court records, was sentenced to a one year probation. A very light sentence resulting from his cooperation with US prosecutors.

The latest court papers to have been unsealed reveal how the US Attorney praised Garone for his complete cooperation and substantial assistance to the IRS and FBI. The information provided by him is believed to have been used to seize over $60m in poker funds and to prepare a number of prosecutions, while an extensive undercover operation is still ongoing.

It is however important to remember that the funds seized are likely to be players winnings. Like CasinoScamReport.com, who asked the same question few weeks ago, we'd like to know what happened to all the money federal prosecutors seized from online gambling sites and payment providers.

first I have heard of this; bad news if other states get behind this and it has snowball effect. although there would be a lot more locals getting in the business.

Washington state banned their residents from playing on poker sites a few months back. I guess it was only a matter of time before they cracked down on sports betting sites too.

If anyone wants a way around this PM me. I got some inside guys in Bookmaker that will take bets to bookmaker in any state.

So if you use Bookmaker and live in Washington and still want to continue using bookmaker without making an IP address or something crazy, PM me.

It would suck to have to resort to proxy or remote addresses just to lay down at bet.

Hey just helping people out who don't want to take the trouble to create a new address or whatever sh*t. That's all. Not going to tell everyone otherwise Bookmaker will get mad at me and take that option out as well and then everyone will need to create a new IP. But until then, it's between me, Bookmaker, and those who I tell.
