What's up, all? I've got a buddy who recently just started gambling, he deposited 100 into an account, got a 100% free play bonus, then nailed a three team parlay involving Jets ML that at 15:1. 100 to win 1500. Call it beginner's luck.
Anyways, he now has to deal with the rollover, 12x on $100 is 2,400. He was asking me if it was legal to place a large wager on each side of a game, taking the on the juice. He wants to do this twice tomorrow, 770 on home teamX 770 on away teamX. Since he hit it big, a 140$ loss in juice is acceptable to him in order to get the money out immediately.
So my question is, is this considered illegal with the sportsbook? Bonus tampering or something along those lines? I suggested this to him and he came up with the idea to buy a half point either way and claim he was shooting for a middle. Does anyone have insight on this type of situation that can perhaps help my buddy not accidentally cheat and ruin his first big win?
What book is it at? If it's a reputable book and you can transfer the money to someone else that has an account with the book let me know. If he wants the money instantly for a discounted rate I would be interested in buying it. PM ME.
