Robert: "Oh, we are not paying out any moneybookers. Our moneybookers account has been hacked and we have 60-70 accounts who have defrauded us. We have stopped paying out all moneybookers until we have time to investigate further".

Me: "When can I expect to get paid?"

Robert: "Our investigation could take months. We are a very small company. But we can pay you by check."

Me: "OK. When can you do that? When could I get a tracking number?"

Robert: "Oh not until maybe the middle of next week. We still have to pay the guys who asked for payouts this Monday."

Robert: "Moneybookers still wants us to use them, but we won't until we find out what fraud was committed".

Me: "Can you send me a personal moneybookers then? You already said none of the fraud was from Canada."

Robert: "Oh no, we want to hold on to the money we have."

I don't get why a betting "syndicate" who used Moneybookers would be using Parlaymakers in the first place. If they've got access to Moneybookers, then they've presumably got access to Pinnacle, and it's Pinnacle's lines that Parlaymakers deals. And if a syndicate was using Parlaymakers, wouldn't their volume in bets be considerably higher than stated (ie. 5 or so bets a day!)? Creative excuse, indeed.

So that they do not move the line over at pinnacle. They can get double the amount on if they bet the max at parlaymakers, then go to pinnacle (which would move the line)..

Also free payouts. Not just one p/m.

but as i posted before, they do. i've seen pinnacle-odds move after i bet the pm-maximum many times. there was definitely some kind of hedging going on.

btw, it's not just US players that are banned from pinny, and being able to access mb doesn't automatically mean you're able to access pinny.
another btw, all that bs about syndicates. books always think they are being hit by "syndicates", but it's never quite clear what they mean by that.

Thanks, noyb. Apologies for my mistaken assumptions. If the Pinnie lines move when bets are placed at PM, are there good reasons for people who can get a Pinnie account to use PM?

I would imagine they would still work closely with any arbitrator for amounts above $2500, but they would not have to blindly follow the decision of the arbitrator even if they disagree strongly with it.
"would want to have a say". "and they have virtually given away the right to have a say". You must not understand arbitration or its purpose. Of course they have a say. When the arbitration process works correctly the dispute is put in the hands of an intelligent, unbiased person(s) who makes a decision based strictly on facts and circumstances. There should be no dollar limitation. It is the facts and circumstances of the dispute that matter, not the dollar amount. If the person holding the money wants to put a dollar limitation on the arbitration it is because they want ultimate power over the money.

It doesn't matter if there were none above a "c". The players are sending their money out of the country and allowing the book to have power and control over the money. A counter to this would be legit arbitration. If a book did not have control of the money (money from both parties held by a trusted unbiased third party to settle wagers in a fair manner), you better believe they would want legit arbitration to get their money when they are correct. Because they have power and control over the money they do not want anyone arbitrating disputes. If they could stop customers from posting about them at forums, they probably would, although in reality, they may not care too much about that.

i think if it was a goldp situation there wouldn't have been a problem, a book not funding its ewallet is not uncommon, i had it happen several years ago at 5dimes, and they are amongst the elite

So what you are saying is that Parlaymakers and GP were down at the same time? And GP removed live chat and a few days later parlaymakers followed suit? Also remember when the same person used to answer the chat whether you clicked at the Parlaymakers site and the GP site? Also remember how parlaymakers started - postings parlays at matchbook. Remember how GP started - matchbook. Yeah definately no way they are related! I'll give you the lock of the century, these two websites are run by the same people!

We demand more customer service and faster grading so you respond by taking 3 days to grade a wager, and removing your live chat? You have 20k and upwards limits, yet you dont think to have enough cash in your moneybookers account to cover a few 4 digit withdrawals???? What was your real plan - take a couple of huge bets and run for the hills?. I got out of that place just in time. This is fun to watch.

I can't be the only one that figured out that if you go to the same URL for your own wagers win/loss page but you are not logged in, you get to see the aggregation of all win/loss for every customer. One look at this page and you can see they are not doing too hot. And yes, they are losing money hand over foot to moneybookers clients.

Great concept, poor execution. I hope you figure this all out, until then I'm taking my business elsewhere!

Lou...since you seem to be the SBR point guy in this thread...what is your understanding of PM's agreement to binding arbitration? Does SBR know what Max is talking about? Is there money on deposit? Is it a matter of one part of SBR not knowing what another part did? Or did Max just make this whole "arbitration" thing up?

I wish Max would be more forthcoming...but I wish you guys could acknowledge or refute this claim that Max has made that he has a binding agreement with SBR concerning dispute settlements.

Parlaymakers was given permission to place the SBR sportsbook complaint form on their site, that's the extent of it. Prior to this payment complaint, the last noteworthy dispute against them was reported here. SBR helped to mediate and resolve the dispute, with Parlaymaker's cooperation.

We are still waiting to discuss this payment complaint with Max and hope to connect with him as soon as possible. Anyone with an outstanding issue not reported can use the complaint form linked above.

Lou, thanks for clarifying. Please keep us up to date on how this develops. It seems odd that Max hasn't called SBR immediately to get this thing nipped in the bud, so naturally we're doing a lot of kavetching.

No lies going on here. Sorry for the delayed response to this thread. The original complaint has been resolved as Lou stated. Pills/Halifax was paid out 9k of the 13 he is owed and the rest will be sent this week via **.

It is hard for some people to believe that it really does take a little while to move funds around. At any rate I do understand the player perspective that they dont care what issues there are and they just want to be paid.

I am sure this thread will let me know if I have failed to respond to something earlier.
