    Live Betting

Is Live Betting a big trap for bettors. Does the sports book have that much of an edge over you? I will say one thing its very addictive!

You can get good middles if there are lead changes

    It's addicting too

Lopsided games are not good though

Yea there was one play tonight at it was like 3rd and 1 and the odds were like +1100 I mean thats crazy against Ohio State who has a pretty good defense. Took it and cashed. I don't like betting on next play. Usually first downs and bigger stuff like that.

love live betting.....whenever there's a game on TV where the option is available, if I don't bet the game, I will wait a LIVE BET.

Sometimes, I won't bet a big game and just await a LIVE BET.

LIVE Betting allows more bets per game if done right and your money isn't tied up all game.

Or, you find a nice line on the game or total mid game and bet that

Live betting is very profitable if you use several books.

Chuck, you are forgetting one important thing - When there is a market.

In Running wagering is great - except when you dont have a way out of the position you just took.

at asian books is pure gold... but somedays you can get carry away and make stupid plays like betting heavily on strong favorite(my bigest mistake live).
I think the lines are much easy to beat live.

Some guys said that it's a trap. But I think the ability for win or lose is the same except you know exactly who will score next, in other words, when you know the team that accept to lose for money

partybets had some ridicolous lines for nfl livebetting during the regular season
they are also rated b+ , so if you like live betting you should give them a try
i'm not sure if they take us costomers though

I made my first live bet the other day. The bronze medal game of the World Junior Hockey Tournament. Sweden was the favorite. It was 0-0 at first intermission and USA was out shooting Sweden 15-6 or something so I pounded $200 on USA -0.5 @+120 and cashed. Next few weeks when I'm watching hockey and there's a 0-0 game at first intermission I'm gonna put some some small bets on the team with more shots, will also look at time on attack and hits. Hockey is so hard to bet because on any night the best team in the league can lose to the worst. Live betting is definitely the way to go when wagering on hockey.

Agree as well. Personally, I find that live betting is my most profitable method of playing. Usually have a good "feel" for games once they've actually started. Not sure why I don't just wait until the games have started myself though.

Also, what books would everyone recommend for live betting? Which have the most available games?

Bet365 is best in world for live betting. Unibet and Bwin have a plenty of games to,low limits at this shops. Offcours Betfair have very much games but you cant make parlay.

The volatility of live betting (or trading) make it a good opportunity for those who know what they are doing. For the average square however the increased juice make it more costly than pregame bets.

BF being Betfair? I've heard decent things about them... or at least nothing too bad. I'm a little hesitant to throw money into a book I don't know, especially for something as volatile as live betting. I enjoy just betting live at 5Dimes, but they obviously only do it very rarely for the most marquee games, and don't offer a ton of variation.

I seem to recall BoDog having some kind of flash software where you could bet on virtually everything live... like make/miss next freethrow, etc. Am I crazy? And if not, is it decent?

If there were more exchanges sites - would be very easy to find middles across the different exchanges. But hard to see anyone opening a new exchanges that US players would be able to play at - outside of MB of course.

it beats me why there are any sports punters who can but don't use Betfair
simply the most betting options and lowest juice on almost everything most of the time
live betting is just another plus
