    Do any books offer Action Points?

    Do only locals offer this?

    I'd think online books would be able to, you just put a limit on # of pts and then you wager the max amount you can lose.

    My local offers it. Action points. All the sharps call them lightning bets.

    I'm not familiar with the terms "action points" or "lightning bets" but it seems it is American terminology for what the rest of the world calls "index" or "spread" betting whereby the more the margin in favour of your bet the more you win or the greater the margin it goes against you the more you lose. Exciting stuff. But not for novice gamblers!

    the spread betting companies in the u.k and ireland offer them, actually that is there whole business, try sporting index or world spreads

    secondly they jack spreads up a little so you lose a point on the commission
