Yes. I know of 2 specific slow-pay issues. How many times do I have to say it?

Sorry but geez-Louise. I said it about 5 times in this thread already. Wager Web are slow-paying.

They don't involve me so there is no form for me to fill out. Due to WW's lying and weaseling, I haven't played there for a long time. I'm just passing on good information for players to know like I have done since this forum began. Don't send money to Wager Web.

It's not up to me if/when my contacts file formal complaints. But if you phone WW, they just might confirm it in 2 seconds. They know they're slow-paying. These cases I'm talking about don't involve any disputes. It is straight-up slow pay. Maybe WW even have an explanation they'd like to get out there and a projection of when it will be fixed. I don't know.

Okay it's more likely they will squirm and weasel and ultimately lie - and I admit I enjoy thinking about weasels being made to squirm like that - but they just might tell the truth too.

Anyway I've passed on your offer to look at the details through PM.

    Absolutely not.

If a poster creates a thread about a comparable situation - say Bet Royal - and a bunch of people start to list complaints and telling people to stay away, I just chuckle and let it go. I've never had a problem with Royal and I have made a lot of money there - but I'm not going to start defending them. Like WagerWeb, they have screwed around a lot of people and I figure I have been lucky but it is probably better for players in general to have the message to stay away.

At most, I might say, "I have been alright there but it is a big risk." And I would leave it at that. I certainly wouldn't be jumping in arguing with every individual post against them - like you are doing here. And if someone reported a slow-pay, I would not give the book the benefit of the doubt. Some books get some benefit of the doubt but like Royal and WagerWeb don't.

If they don't like that, they can look at their own behavior.

But Wager Web really is slow-paying right now. You must know I'm not lying here. If not, I want to play some poker with you because you should be able to clearly see I have the goods.

I have actually made some good money with Wager Web over the years myself but, if you care about players, the message right now needs to be STAY AWAY.

I respect your opinion and this is what the forums are for. I don't argue with everyone after they post something negative about WW, so I don't know where you come up with that. When somone posts they don't have the best lines, do I come in here and defend them saying their lines are top notch? No, I agree with them. Did I counter and say the player was in the wrong who didn't get their moneybooker payment, no. Why would I? When you say players aren't getting paid in the normal timeframe then won't offer more details until 6 posts later, sure I'll question it.

Do you still play w/ Royal, if not, when did you stop?

The key message here is that players should avoid WagerWeb - thank you for the post MUDCAT - good advice.

Sounds like it is clear that the public feels they are poorly managed, don't work well with players, if you win they cut your limits immediately, if you win big you don't get paid at all, their lines are not competitive, they advertise you can get payment via moneybooker but when you ask for a payout they refuse that alternative, they are slow paying (maybe no paying) their clients and they are not recommended by SBR (per SBR employees and website).

    Great information!

ROBMPINK (aka WagerWeb employee), since you are so knowledgeable and caring about the success of WagerWeb, why don't you explain to everyone why a sportsbook would advertise on their website the following, "Due to the MLB AllStar Game and our system maintenance we will not be able to process ANY CUSTOMER PAYOUTS for the next three (3) days." Go to www.wagerweb.com and see for yourself -- I know you will have a good defense for this, but come on......what sportsbook cannot process a simple payout - great customer service! Suggest you and the rest of your management team get together and fix this problem ASAP. Maybe you owe Mudcat an apology for questioning his slow paying comments about WagerWeb - seems like very slow - especially if you want a payout today, tomorrow or Wednesday - damn All Star Game - good reason why not to pay customers.

Wagerweb Not Accepting Client Payout Requests

Checkout www.wagerweb.com - they say due to the MLB All Star Game and System Maintenance that they will not process any customer payout requests for the next three days.

I have been trying to warn everyone for months to avoid WAGERWEB - here is more proof of how terrible this organization treats their clients.

What if you have money there (which you shouldn't) and want / need money ? Guess it is too bad !!!! Looks like it's a MLB All Star Game NO PAY Holiday for WagerWeb.

Hope nobody is in that boat.........

System maintenance I can understand, however stopping payments due to the all-star break shouldn't happen.

I guess the people that have been waiting a month for their cheques can just keep waiting.

It won't slow down Moneybookers payouts though. Before you would get them never and now you still get them never. No change there.

So in summary: if you deposit you risk being labeled a professional (defined as someone who takes a bonus or who wins) and having any winnings confiscated. If you get to the point of wanting a payout, they will send it when they are good and ready. Maybe.

    Avoid like the plague.

    Mudcat,

We don't have any open slow-pay complaints against Wagerweb. If someone is owed and not getting paid, I want to get to the bottom of it. Have them fill out a the complaint form.

And I bet when the all-star break is over they'll be like, well it's too late in the week to do anything now. And of course they don't do anything on weekends.

    These people are the worst.

Shouldn't be long before their shill shows up in this thread.

It kind of sucks that you stuck this at the bottom of a long thread that few people are likely to get through. There is an important message here for your members.

You did mention before that you have no open slow-play complaints against Wager Web. It's kind of irrelevant. This is far from the first time I have had information that SBR doesn't.

What can I tell you? I am not able to, "Have them fill out a complaint form." These are people. They will fill out a form if and when they feel like filling out a form. They are aware of SBR.

But the no-pays (let's hope they're just slow-pays) are no less real.

Like every post by every poster, my reputation is behind it. If I have a bad reputation then people can ignore what I say.

But I don't think so. I have been posting good sportsbook information here since the day this forum began. SBR used to pay me to do it. I am doing it now. I am trying to get important information to players here. Wager Web is no-paying right now (on top of several other transgressions).

    STAY THE HELL AWAY!

Did you phone Wager Web as I suggested? They could and should confirm what I'm saying. Maybe they have an explanation and a projection of when the problem will be fixed. Then again, maybe they would like the opportunity to formally deny my allegations (although the way you are burying this information they probably don't care much).

The world does not necessarily revolve around SBR complaint forms. I'm helping you every way I can.

I did speak with Wager Web. They aren't aware of any slow pays, and wanted to know who is having issues so they can address them. Anytime they hear about problems in threads, they telephone me and ask who they are.

This sucks. Now you will have to wait until Friday to withdraw. Oh wait, you can't

I don't owe Mudcat anything. He has a right to post what he posts. I have my opinion as well.

I'm not a dummy. I would be pissed if i wanted to make a withdrawl and saw the message. Since you don't play (kicked out) w/ the book anymore how do you know they didn't notify their players a day or two before w/ a message on the website when they logged in or via e-mail? You don't.

Listen, the bottom line is until I read situations of rampant slow/no pay here at SBR, I don't feel hesitant to deposit. If this happens more frequent or other oddities happen I may reconsider. Based on what Justin says there are no complaints. Maybe it is time to have the alleged slow pay victims come out of the woodwork.

If anyone with half a brain reads my posts, I only comment on my experiences and what I know. I don't fluff stuff up. Please someone point out one thing that I said from MY experience that isn't true.

WWS, did you try filing a civil lawsuit to recoup your winnings?
