    i haven't been paid by Bodog after 2 months

    Hi everybody.
    I have a big problem of payout with the Sportsbook Bodog. This sportsbook is rated A,and it's true it provides good offers for bets, but i must say i've never seen such an incompetent customer service! Due to the new law that was passed in France, Bodog could not accept french customers anymore and had to close my account, but they told me i could withdraw money remaining without any problem. So i made a payout request (amount 410.49 euros) by wire the 15th of october. A few weeks later, as i hadn't received any money on my bank account and had no news from them, i contacted them and they explained to me they needed more bank informations and credit card informations. I sent them the required documentation and made a second payout request. I have received email from bodog confirming they had received documentation and that was ok:

    "Dear Mr. Matthieu,

    Thank you for contacting Bodog Financial Services.

    We have received your documentation for Credit Card 5134 **** **** 6590. This Credit Card is now verified.

    Your pending withdrawal request will be forwarded to the Payouts Department for processing"

    After a very long time, i still hadn't received any money on my bank account so i contacted bodog to have news about my payout, and they wrote me the 27th of november:

    "Dear Mr. Mathieu,

    Thank you for contacting Bodog Financial Services.



    Upon review of your account, we see that your payout for $410.49 from Fri, Oct 15, 2010 has already been processed and sent to your Banking Institution.



    This payout was processed on Nov 16, 2010 and should have taken 10 business days from the date mentioned to hit your Bank Account.



    We advise, that you check your Bank account carefully as the money was already sent to you. If you are not able to locate the funds on your Bank Account please submit to us, a copy of your statement for the month of November to be reviewed".

    SO i waited ten more days...Still no money. As Bodog had asked me, i went to my bank to trace the payout, and my banker explained to me he needed details such as name of bodog's bank, wire reference,...

    I immediately contacted Bodog to have these informations, but i received no one, and the worth is that today i received this email from Bodog:

    "Dear Mr. Matthieu,

    Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

    As per review of your account, we see that there is only one payout request made and that is the one dated October 15, 2010 which was recently canceled as per your request. If you would like to request for another payout you may contact our toll free hotline listed below.

    Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us."

    Is it a joke ???! They tell me today that i have to contact them for payout where as they told me a few weeks ago that payout had been processed on november 16 !!!And they made me go to my bank whereas they've never made any payment ?!? Everytime i contact them i have a different "story" and no one able to answer my simple and precise questions. I think that perhaps, as french customers are not accepted anymore, Bodog believes they can allow themselves to keep/steal money from former french customers! If they think so, they make big mistake! I'm desperate and that's why i'm contacting SBR so that you can help me to be paid after 2 months ! Help me please.     Not a great book, but I actually have gotten a payout from them and it was rather quick. I just had a check sent to my address, hardly any paperwork. Have you tried getting a check sent?

    I doubt they're refusing to pay as much as just ran into a banking issue and canceled the payout 'per YOUR request'...annoying,yes , but I would try another method.

    Hopefully Bodog Becky comes by and looks into your case. She has been resolving most if not all customer complaints involving Bodog.

    Hi and thanks for your comments.
    Being paid by check is a possibility...I will see it with them. I proposed them to be paid using my moneybookersaccount about 4 days ago, and they told me i would receive an answer within 24 hours...I'm still waiting for their answer concerning moneybookers... But it's clear this would be the easiest and fastest method.
    They recently sent me an email asking me to join them by phone, i tried the phone number they gave me several times ( 1 866 502 33 65) but it doesn't work from france! If they had a look at tmy account they should know i live in France and give me the number to use from France!
    I will wait their answer concerning Moneybookers hoping i'll have good news very soon, but anyway i'll continue complaining as long as i haven't received my money, and should they want to keep my money i would make them lost 100 times more money with bad advertising on forums...

    Enough is enough !!!!!!! I'm fed up with this fuc.... Bodod customer service ! They are really a band of incompetents! I'm wondering if they read messages from customers or not ! I wrote them explaining them the phone number they had given me didn't work from France, and what is their answer??? :

I ignore if i am a bodog europe or bodog.com customer ? i think i was at bodog.europe first, but when when french customers were not allowed anymore my account was transfered to bodog.com if i remember well...
    I managed to find a link to go and chat with bodog customer service yesterday. I was told if i made deposit with moneybookers i could then withdraw with moneybookers. But i explained i couldn't make any deposit since internet access to bodog is now impossible for french residents due to new law. This message appears: "Sorry, access to this site from your jurisdiction is not allowed.

    For any questions about your account please contact csd@bodog.com"


    I tried to explain it to CS representative but he didn't understand anything and told me to delete cookies to have internet access...stupid... I ignore what's the problem with my bank informations for wire: with sportsbooks that toke the french licence, wire is the only way to withdraw, and i've never had any problem with my bank informations!

    To explain the difference between Bodog Europe and Bodog.com:

    Bodog Europe is the owner of bodog.co.uk, the European facing bodog brand licensee. If you are located in France, you are playing at bodog.co.uk (if you type "bodog.com" into your browser while physically located in France, you'll be redirected to bodog.co.uk).

    Bodog.com is owned by MMGG and is the US facing bodog brand licensee. If you are physically located in the US you are playing at bodog.com.

    Your situation is terrible and the fact that the customer service has been so incompetent is not funny at all. There is no excuse for you waiting this long from such a prominent sportsbook on SBR. However...

    I have to admit that it's pretty funny that you emailed them to say you couldn't contact them by phone from France on the number they gave you and then they replied by asking you to phone them. That's almost like something you'd see on a bad tv show.

    Best of luck tristan. Now that Becky's working on it, I'm sure she'll have it fixed for you in no time at all. Thank you for sharing your experience with them.

    Good news for me tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been paid ! A very big "thanks" to Becky and Alyssa (from Bodog, Quebec). I 've been called today, it seems that Bodog experienced problems to pay me via wire, so they did necessary to process payout via moneybookers. Only one hour after the call i check my moneybookers account and money was there ! Thanks again to Becky and Alyssa (without you i would still be waiting), i'll spend a merry chrismas thanks to you! :-)

    Everyone misses the point. THEY HAVE TO HAVE A 'rep' HERE, because they chose to pay little for outsourced CS.
    They believe better to fix it later (after much pr damage is done) than to pay to to it right the first time.

    So boys what have we learned? Once again if you present your problem in an honest, calm, and respectful manner 95% of the time it will get resolved by the good people of SBR or the representatives like Becky. Great job by all. No reason not to be an active SBR user.

    Yep! I'm the head on-site reporter for CalvinAyre.com and a fact checker for BodogBrand.com so I have a presence across all major gambling forums on behalf of Bodog Brand. In addition to making sure that the information posted about all of the bodog brand licensees is correct, if I notice that a player is unhappy with the service they received from CS, I will use my connections with the senior management at each of the licensees to get the facts and get the problem solved.

    For sure ! Up to now i was only surfing on small french forums with no importance, i even believe most of sportsbooks ignore the existence of these french forums, but i must admit it's totally different with SBR ! This forum is known all over the world and i realize sportsbooks take care of what can be said here ! I said thank you to Becky and Alyssa, but i forgot "someone": thanks SBR !!! I'll leave my poor french forums and become a regular SBR user now!
