If you dont mind me asking, what book is it from? I had to do the samething. They needed a picture of my driver's license and of the "pre-paid" **** card that I made the deposit with. I also had to fill out couple of forms. So I just faxed them that info and got my check 4 days later.

    Aloha,

Money transfer are the less hassle free when requesting a payout, while the credit card thing is more convenient to do deposits. It is not worth deposit via credit card if they put more than a 10 day hold before you can request a payout.

And Yes ID verification is the norm at sportsbook when doing credit/debit card transactions.

I dont think thats why they ask for it. Like most anything thats out to make money, they would rather you not withdraw and keep using their business, in other words, the longer you stay the more potential they have to make money, asking to fax picture ID and whatever else is just basically a stalling tactic, which will make a small percentage not even go through the hassle and just keep wagering. Think about it, they dont ask for picture ID when you make deposits, funny how they will take your money without any proof of who you are, but only when you want to withdraw YOUR money they want further information.

yes, it does suck. I've faxed driver's license in the past.

By the way, does anyone know if it makes any difference to fax your passport photo copy instead of a driver's license photo copy? I just always wondered if it's at all dangerous. I've done the DL in the past and never had any problems.

I think they just want some form of photo to the name whether passport or DL. Some people don't have passports.

Also, I think it has become a norm for bookmakers to request documents these days, especially for withdrawals due to money laundering businesses.
