    Receiving a Check....

What's up guys, I was just curious on how this works. If I were to withdraw from Betjam, via check. I have a few questions...

1.) How would I cash this check, like which bank do I go to?
2.) What kind of check would it be, would the bank give me a problem and ask why or how this came about?

    Thanks in advance...

1...You can go to any bank you have an account at and cash the check

2...You shouldnt have any problem with a check that is less than $5000

Oh ok, nice, so anywhere I have an account, they'll just cash it for me?

What does the check say? It won't say betjam or anything?

Yes they will just cash it for you...if its a large amount they might make you deposit it into your account and wait until the check clears until you can withdrawl that amount.

No the check will not say betjam..it will be from betjams banking company and your bank will not know the diffrence.

just make sure the cheque is written on a bank in your own country cause most banks have 30 day holds when cashing foreign cheques

eg;; i won 3rd place here in btp contest and had to wait 30 days in canada cause cheque was written on USA bank;; just an annoying wait ; avoid if u can

Don't sweat the process, there's nothing to it. Last check I received was from 5Dimes, cashed it at my normal bank and that was it. The chances are slim, but more likely, that you'll be given some odd line of questioning at a bank you don't normally go to. I know all the tellers, maybe not by name, but they've seen me enough to recognize me. If the check is big money, or from some odd Arab country then you may have to answer a question or two, if not you'll be fine.

I have not seen anyone make any negative comments in regards to any types of international holds at all like people have about Wsex. So you shouldn't have any problems with a BetJamaica check at all.

The first time I got a check after the post neteller thing it was from 5Dimes and because my account didn't have a release amount set there was a hold put on my check. Your release amount is the amount the back will "release" to you without a hold. For example my release is $1500 on my account, if I were to walk in with a check for $3000 I would not have access to all of the funds without a hold because they will only release up to $1500 for me. So that may be something to ask at the bank.

As for them asking questions my bank the first time asked me and I just made up some story about having an "investment fund", but once I got my release set to $1500 all they ask now is if I've cashed a check from them before and I just say "yes many times" and there's no problem. I used to be a little nervous going to the bank too because it's not like a teller at the bank is going to think you trying to cash a check from an online sportsbook is legitimate, but really it's none of their business and they are not the police. I'm sure everything will go ok for you.

My BTP cheques were fine, no hold nothing. Most cheques I have no hold on at all in Canada up to $1000. Over $1000 they put a 15 Business day hold on it.
