Betsafe Ridiculousness - Micro Limits & Voiding Wagers With No Warning

I want to share the unprofessional experience I had with Betsafe (www.betsafe.com, SBR Rating: C) last night/this morning.

So last night, I place 2 wagers of $100 and $90 apiece of the FIBA games today. I get a message telling me that roughly half of each wager will be accepted, and the other half would have to be subject to review by the wagering department. So I wait a few minutes, keep refreshing my account, and eventually the full wagers are accepted. It's pretty silly that anything over $50 has to be reviewed, anyways...

I wake up this morning, and log into my Betsafe account. I notice that the amount that was initially over the betting limits (and accepted), was now rejected and that the funds have been placed back in my account. This happens about an hour before the game too. I don't get any email or communication whatsoever that my wager has been partially refunded. I go onto live chat and asked why my wagers were accepted, then rejected, and why I didn't get any notice of this. I get these generic copy and paste responses that tell me nothing.

Lessons learned from this Mickey Mouse book:

    - Initial wagering limits are extremely low, anything above $50 is subject to review for approval
    - They will void your wagers without warning you
    - They will accept your wagers above their limits, then void them, without warning you

This will probably be the last time I do business with betsafe.com.

I share the same experience as you regarding the micro limits. I have placed 11 bets in total with Betsafe and none of them was particularly big. Now I'm allowed to bet about €6 on a premier league game! And that's high, most bets I'm allowed to bet €1-€2. What's more is that I still have to turnover €70 more in order to be able to withdraw my money (due to bonus requirements). Add to that the behavior they display as described by "forsberg21" above and you have near criminal bookie. Please stay away from Betsafe, you'll be happy you did! Thank heavens there are superb books out there such as Pinnacle!

if you've got a $50 limit you're extremely lucky. no idea how they make any money cutting almost anybody to about a dollar.

Betsafe means that one is safe because one can neither lose (nor win) more than a few cents. :-)

My limits are actually in the 100's over here I used to bet there a lot before I discovered that there are actually better bookies out there They like to send out free spins in their casino now and again, but I never win anything from them.

Never had a problem with voided bets or them not paying. Don't think they are really targetting that many of the sbr posters though.
